WRONG, THERE ARE 6 -- no joke.
READ IT AGAIN !
The reasoning behind is further down.
The brain cannot process "OF".
Incredible or what? Go back and look again!!
Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius.
Three is normal, four is quite rare.
Send this to your friends.
It will drive them crazy.! And keep them occupied for several minutes..!
p.s. And anyone who can spell Alzheimers at the first go is also a bloody genius!

If I may point something out about this classic "test." It is supposed to be SPOKEN, not written. The eyes can SEE the f's much more easily than the ears can hear them. That is the whole point of the test. The f's in OF do not sound like f's.

You're much better off trying this test by speaking it aloud to someone.

  I first saw the original video (which was part of some BBC program) on a blog post that used it as an example of how easily we may miss opportunities around us. The point was that opportunities are everywhere, but we just don't see them because we are focused elsewhere.
  
  The full BBC program had similar examples. There was one where they had advertised a "money for participating in an experiment" kind of deal on a college campus. So, the people would show up to get in on it. The clerk would give them some directions, point the way and, oh, you need to fill out this paperwork. Then, the clerk would duck under the counter to grab the paperwork, and a completely different person would stand back up and hand the person the paperwork. The majority of people didn't notice the clerk was a completely different person. As I recall, even the clothes were different!

  I must be very tired tonight. I didn't catch the changes on this one either. Yeah I think my eyes are really tired. I couldn't count my F's, missed that darn bear and now I couldn't see the colors. I think I'll go have a drink now.

I counted 6 Fs the first time.

As far as the 1st posted video goes, I had seen it a year ago - but I hadn't noticed the bear the first time around. Cool stuff.

1st video, didn't notice the bear at all... hahaha

2nd video I noticed the tablecloth and the background changing but not their shirts. I thought it was a lighting thing though, not an actual swap. haha.
