Killer Joe, I did make posts tonight that weren't intended to inflate my post count(advice on a copy writing book, interacting with a point on the MLM thread), and yesterday I also did post a legitimate question on CL. It's just that I want to have access to the joint venture forum, I've tried not to constantly spam, seeing that I've been posting for 3 days and I still have 15 posts.

But in the future, I won't add little offhand comments to threads(that others also add), because I'm new and that's regarded as spam.

Yes, that's correct, so a wise move on your part.

Just post on topics where your contribution will add value and once you get past that 'new guy' smell you'll have a lot more leeway.

  I think he did that a while back. I reported a ton of those folks and then one day I looked at the rules and didn't see that as a rule.
  
  It baffled me because either I never saw it in the first place, or it was a case of too much relaxation of the rules.

You should see ptc spammers , some can be very annoyning pretty fast , posting in the proof section , 10 post a day with 1 line like congratulations , congratulations in your payment or something like that , lol .

I, myself, enjoy watching all the little spammers and wanna-be'ers posting away as fast as they can - any crap to hit the post button - so they can get forum permissions to get into "special" forums -- then their reps are so totally ruined by the time they get there that nobody with a brain will go near em. LOL.

It's a lot like putting a bucket over a calf's head and watching him kick to get it off.

Our spammer last night was from the Philippines hawking a real estate site in their sig that obviously was not theirs.

I guess outsourcing forum posting to the Philippines is/will be a hot new trend.

What a waste of time...

i don't understand this either? You need special permission to be in certain forums? Such as? never knew that!?

Only one I thought was special was the war room, of which I know you have to pay a mem-fee to get into... other than that no idea?
