Newbie in the house, happy holidays

Hi,

Billy Batts here, a newbie when it comes to internet marketing. Have been reading several forums and decided i wanted to learn to make money on my own as working for a boss usually don't work out to well

Seen some interesting things on the marketplace but i am very skeptical when it comes to buying these guides. Promises great things for low prices and then the old "if it seems to good to be true it usually is" feeling kicks in.

Ps:One question, when i click the notification and the sidebar opens and i click on Mark all as read nothing happens, any solution?

  • Welcome and good luck. Two suggestions - first start your learning process by researching various internet marketing topics here on the WF. The search feature will allow you to find tons of useful information.

    Second - do not be eager to buy anything, Even though the claims may sound great. You can learn a lot for free. At some point you will know enough to decide if purchasing a course or service or other product makes sense. Design your business model and stay focused on it as it is easy to get distracted and pulled in many directions.

      I know what you mean, so many options, legal and slightly less legal but i think i found the direction i want to go which suite my skills and willingness to learn and that is affiliation and cpa networking.

  • Are messages getting deleted or something? 2 of my ow messages are gone and the notifier said i had 2 more reactions from other people but they are gone too
  • The smartest thing you can do as you learn internet marketing....is to REMEMBER THAT.

    What I've noticed for years is that new marketers very quickly change that to "if it seems too good to be true, it usually is....BUT...."

    Whatever plan/method/product follows the "but" is usually..not true....

    Common sense will get you far - and save you a lot of money - when working online.
  • spam is deleted - posst with links are often deleted - notifications are not always accurate in my experience.
  • Yes, the post where you thanked me profusely and wanted to send me $1000 is gone, sniff!

    There's no need to buy anything - all the fundamentals of marketing etc. are already discussed freely on this forum.

    I would however suggest getting a War Room membership. I have seen the most amazing & insightful posts on there.

    • I will when i saved up for it but for now reading, reading, making notes, reading.

      The info is overwhelming, techniques, websites, software etc i'm sitting literally 16 hours a day behind the computer and i got many different ways now but still no idea where to start to make a buck.
