Selling digital course without traffic

I have made 1.5-hour video course. I don't have any email list or blog with huge traffic. And also I don't have a big budget to promote it. But I have will to sell it.

Is it possible to put my course on Affiliate network and get some sales?

Mostly affiliates search for a product with good selling stats already. But if I don't have any selling stats, will someone be interested in to promote it?

Maybe someone had similar experience?

You could list your course on something like clickbank or JVZoo, and you might get a few people to take a flyer on it. Sounds like you have a contradiction, though. You say you have the will to sell your course, but you want to know how to list it on an affiliate network so other people can sell it for you.

The real solution is to build a list and/or find an audience.

The following is based on the premise that your course is actually worth what you are charging for it.

For list building, you need an offer that will appeal to potential subscribers. Carve out a short excerpt from your course, maybe 5-10 minutes with one solid bit of info that viewers can immediately put to use. Create a landing page with your excerpt and an opt-in form along with a few lines describing what your course is about. Maybe offer a download of the video or a transcript in return for the email address.

Create a simple follow up series along the lines of Jeff Walker's "Sideways Sales Letter" that leads subscribers to your course.

The next step is the audience.

Since you don't have an audience of your own, you'll have to borrow one or more. Lots of ways to do this.

    >YouTube videos
    > Quality blog comments
    > Guest posts
    > Podcast interviews
    > The list goes on...

In each instance, give quality content and link back to your landing page with the free, no-strings video sample and sign-up form.

Be consistent, experiment with different ways of connecting with different audiences, and you should start making some sales.

Once you have some sales, you will also have stats for affiliates. The most important one by far, at least for professional affiliates, will be EPC, or earnings per click. In other words, how much did you make for each click to your sales page? Sales page, not opt-in page. Affiliates will be able to take those numbers, factor in your commission percentage, and estimate how much they think they can make. If their EPC guess is acceptable, they'll promote you.

Find one same niche site that already has traffic and needs something to sell, split the sales 50/50.

    Done.

I decided to put my course on Udemy. I will test the waters there.
