The signatures are not showing up anymore in Warrior Forum. Is that true for all forums and is there some way to get seo value out of our paid membership?

It's a thread setting depending on the OP..

Click on "user CP" above left on the page

    click on 'edit options'

scroll down to 'thread display" and check the box next to "show signatures"

I don't think there is a "websites for sale section"- not that I know of but could be wrong. All forum sections are listed in the "marketplace" and the "forums" dropdown menus in the black toolbar above.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

If they changed the settings, I can't say if google sees all sigs.

        No matter.

Google does not care about your sig. They are nofollow.

No they don't. They are nofollow links anyhow though, so they played zero role in rankings.

Kind of funny that people are being charged to have a signature while they are pushing people towards a version of the forum where nobody can see the signatures anyhow.

In the modern view it shows a link to websites for sale on the right side. But it goes to the general "feed".

    Hi Paul,

I like having my sig visible. Gives more character to my presence in the forums. Otherwise I am just a name. Same for how I view others. In the new view there is no place for personality. Very anonymous.

So why is this thread in the SEO forum?

      It's not SEO.

When I reply to a post my signature is not showing up. Is my signature suppose to show when I reply or start a discussion post? I paid for my signature. I followed the instruction of how to do my signature.

I was viewing in the modern view. I didn't realize that is why I could not see my signature.

I forget about the "FEED VIEW" - because I don't use it at all. I go back to the classic view where signatures do show.

I like the classic view. Perhaps they will do some stats, and make the classic default.....by user default.

This adds no value and is not relevant to the discussion.

The source code indicates that the signatures are not seen by search engines in the modern view.

Yes. That's what I said. They are definitely not seen by search engines, but they are nofollow links anyhow, so they were never helping you to rank in the first place.

Edit: Now I'm seeing that my original comment is only showing up in the classic view and not the modern view. Also, now that I signed in, I cannot get out of the modern view no matter how many times I click classic view.

      What a flaming POS!

I'm sure the only ones using the feed view are users not logged in (because you can't switch the view) and logged in users that don't know they have a choice.

The feed is just incredibly stupid and shortsighted. It's a forum. The word 'forum' is in the freaking name.

So why make it look like something other than a forum? Why make it more difficult to follow conversations and engage with users versus making it easier?
