UK Warriors - Places to donate old computer stuff?

As I'm moving house soon so I'm having a clear out. I've got an old computer, printer etc that I don't use. I thought I could donate to one of my favourite charities or a local school. But apparently neither can accept such a gift due to EU rules on electrical goods that means they must test equipment themselves. So anyone in the UK know of any organisation that would like an old 500, 10hd, 125 ram computer, monitor and printer?

Put it on your local Freecycle group .... probably be grabbed in 5 minutes 0)

Failing that, take it down the local council tip where it will be
    properly disposed of.

I've put stuff on freecycle recently Mike without success. Not sure if it's because York has a very active group?
Yes if no takers it'll end up on my local tip via a skip I've ordered.
