Today the vast majority of foods in supermarkets contain genetically modified substances (GMOs) whose effects on our health are unknown. SEEDS OF DEATH documents the dangers of genetically-modified foods that are flooding our food supply. Produced by author and activist Gary Null PhD, the film features the voices and warnings of experts demanding the reassessment of GMOs.

    Gary Michael Null is an American talk radio host and author who advocates for alternative medicine and naturopathy and who produces a line of dietary supplements. He is an AIDS denialist and an anti-vaccinationist.
    This is not someone I'd listen to then or now. I looked into this guy when this 'work' was publicized in 2014. I think he's a nutcase...sorry.

      I don't put credence in Gary Null himself... BUT, the GMO debate is far from over....

      Most of what you'll read is funded directly or indirectly by those very industries pushing GMOs...

      Just like the tens of thousands of chemicals that were deemed "safe" by US regulatory agencies even though they'd never been tested... They "grandfathered" them in... with no testing at all. While other countries require testing to prove that a chemical is safe...

      The best example is Johnson & Johnson incorporating Formaldehyde into baby shampoo sold in the USA.... While their formulas in other countries had no Formaldehyde because it was not allowed by their regulatory agencies...

      In the end, US citizens believe they have the most strict regulatory agencies.... and are the "safest" in the world... The facts indicate the US regulators are only interested in lining their pockets... and their friends' pockets with cash. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend the documentary The Human Experiment... It will scare the hell out of most people with the skyrocketing rates of birth defects, autism, cancer, infertility and various other diseases.

        I never met a GMO that I didn't like. I guess if we get to choose how the human race goes extinct, mass starvation is a good a way as any. If you don't think that's a good idea, I'd suggest you learn to embrace GMO's. Besides, if you think that they will ever be banned, you are sadly mistaken.

        The mighty dollar rules - now and forever. Keep in mind that one important factor has already been declared extinct. It's called the EPA. That should make things a lot better. Not.

          This statement clearly relates massive chemical use as documented in The Human Experiment leading to the skyrocketing rates of birth defects, autism, cancer, infertility and various other diseases. You can dig into it and validate their claims.... scientifically.

          I don't need to validate their claims.... I've seen so many people diagnosed with a variety of diseases each and every day... It is mind boggling...

          The medical establishment and big pharma don't want you to be healthy.... They don't want you to die.... They want you somewhere in the middle to be a perpetual customer...

          I personally believe we are bombarding our body with chemical toxins in our food, water, cosmetics and a variety of other things... This is causing a variety of diseases...

          I'm not trying to convince you of anything... You are free to bathe in the toxins if you choose.... or drink that concoction of chemicals they're selling as "iced tea."

    But that is who you quoted...this nutcase who says "AIDS doesn't exist" and claims vaccinations are harmful in spite of dozens of studies that provide scientific proof to the contrary.

    Why quote him? Because his claims are more 'out there' - because some of the anti GMO folks have begun to realize their fears may not be grounded in reality. Only those on the fringe like Null keep making the same claims year after year in spite of scientific evidence to the contrary.

    It's an issue where people become so dedicated to the stance they've chosen, no proof is enough to make them rethink their belief.

      I didn't see anything I wrote that directly quoted Gary Null.... I guess I missed that.... Kindly point it out to me... :-)

      As with anything, one should watch it.... Take what is useful... and leave the rest.

      The GMO battle is one which I'll ALWAYS take the safest route.... I want my food in its most natural state.... Not altered by a chemical company, like Monsanto.... You can eat whatever you choose...

      This is very much like the garbage peddled a half century ago by big tobacco.... "smoking tobacco is not harmful." They merely wanted to sell more product.... Even when confronted with the medical research, it was swept under the rug... for decades using the "Four Dog Defense."

      With GMOs, the actual health damage being caused may never come to light.... They'll just shrug their shoulders and pawn it off on an inevitable rise in disease... which will thrill big pharma and the medical establishment! More sick and dying people is great for the bottom line!

    Just about every foodstuff you eat has already been "genetically modified". Not by corporations, but by such things as animal husbandry and cross-pollination. Why do you think there are so many types of apples for example. Because farmers have cross-pollinated them to produce different flavours.

    Similarly animals have been bred to have specific qualities. This covers just about every form of domesticated animal - dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, etc., etc.

    These are all forms of genetic modification.

    Natural selection is also a form of genetic modification, albeit a much slower one.
