Hey Fellow Warriors,

Just checking in to see if anyone here has participated in a Master Cleanse.

I've done it three times - none of which I actually finished. I felt great while doing it though (generally)

My girlfriend and I are getting ready to start tomorrow, so today we're going to stock up on all the "goodies".

Master cleanse 3 times? WTF are you doing that you are getting gunked up so darned often? I'd start worrying by that point about keeping continual detox going instead of just getting temporary cleansers. Dandelion is great for a continual blood purifier with no side effects from long term use. For intestinal, there's all sorts of factors working, but an occasional spoonful of apple cider vinegar and some ground flax seeds and oatmeal and a few large salads for fiber to sweep the place clean isn't a bad idea either.

This next item is a bit sensitive, but you need to pay attention to it........
The modern toilet is not designed for effective evacuation. The sitting position is not correct for support of the abdominal muscles and matter can move backward instead of forward and cause liver problems, build-ups etc. Try evacuating in a squat position the way we were naturally intended to use and you will find all your "goodies" are not necessary to evacuate anything but your wallet.

Ya might wanna try a week or two of Milk thistle to regenerate your liver, too.

Geesh --- I sure hope I don't see ya smiling and holding up some of those "results" like I've seen on some of those websites. LMAO.

They've been spread out over about 4 years, and I've never actually finished the cleanse. Now that I have others doing it at the same time as me though, I feel it's going to be easier to stay the course

Never used Master Cleanse myself, but sure am selling the sh*t out of the book "Lose Weight, Have More Energy and Be Happier in 10 Days" from my store. Makes me feel good all over.

BTW: The original book, "The Master Cleanser" was published in 1976. This is not new - just rediscovered.

GEE, it sounds like a SLOW version of the colonoscopy fast! With THAT, you:

    1. take phospho soda(available at a drug store). Don't be scared, this is VERY similar to the sea salt part of the master cleanse part. PERSONALLY though, I would give it 3.5 hours to finish effects. Do it on the weekend, or late friday.

    2. go on a fast drinking only water and clear broth.

Within 3 days, you will certainly be CLEAN. Of course, you shouldn't do this more often than say every 2 weeks.

Jeesh, relax; you don't have to be so anal retentive. This is a very popular movement that began way back in the 1940's and is rapidly spreading all over the world through many channels. And the real beauty of this program now is you no longer have to go alone. Support groups near you may provide professional advice and counseling to make this a smooth process during the most difficult times.

But if group poops aren't for you, I sell a book for the squeemish and for those who really want to go it alone, called "Lose Weight, Have More Energy and Be Happier in 10 Days". Or you can order it online through Amazon.com. It comes with a money-back satisfaction guarantee that you will pass with flying colors within 10 days.

I have personally seen results (through plunging and fixing clogged plumbing for my new customers), so I know it really does work. And, nearly everyone who buys this book in my health food store becomes a regular customer. If you want to look it up for more in-depth study, there is an organization totally devoted to the matter, The Master Cleanse - http://themastercleanse.org.

      Hope this helps.

The Master Cleanse is awesome! At minimum, a 1 day Master Cleanse (36 hours without eating food) is like clearing your cache and restarting a Windows computer. A longer 7 days or more is like doing a clean install. Its been years since I've done a 7 dayer, but should do one again soon. I do the 1 dayers (about 36 hours) 2 to 3 times per month. I ALWAYS look younger and feel GREAT after doing one of those. I can't recommend doing that enough. People have healed themselves of all kinds of funky things like cancer even with the Master Cleanse.

The crucial thing about doing that though is the way you break it. The longer you do it then the slower the transition back to solid food it should be. Start slamming the food down immediately after you stop and you can really reeeeeeally f%$k up your body big time.

Nah, its not just a colon thing dude. Its a total cleansing of the entire system. Like I said before; a long term Master Cleanse is like a clean install on a Windows computer in that everything works like new afterwards. Besides the phenomenal health benefits, its really good for your head spiritually and it sure free's up a lot of time in your day that used to be spent preparing meals and stuffing your face.

I'm wondering how anyone thinks they can just cleanse for a week or two and clean out fat cells - that's where all the crap is stored that kills people eventually. You have to do continual cleansing (blood purifying, etc) to keep the gunk from getting into your fat cells in the first place. Once it's in there the only way to get rid of it is to burn the fat off - then you have to clean the blood after burning the fat off. When people do periodic cleansing they can only get so much out - intestinal build up that shouldn't have been allowed to build up from the get - blood purifying, sweat outs, etc. If people knew how damned polluted they are when they are fat, nobody would be obese.

Fat isn't pollution. It's just better at storing some pollution. And you can't really purify the blood, because once IT is polluted, the CELLS get polluted. The best thing is to burn it off SLOWLY! Ever see house? Like 1/3 the shows mention poisons that end up affecting people because they lose weight FAST.

BTW guys. Some NEWS for you! About the only way you will "reboot your cache" is if you STARVE yourself until your fat percentage is perhaps -2%!(Your muscle is waisting away), take only 100% PURE stuff, and WAIT! It could take like 7 years to get as clean as you will likely ever be. Of course, you will have LOADS of problems. And where could you go? Even the AIR is dirty.

No Steve - fat isn't POLLUTION -- it is POLLUTED. Difference. However, in today's world, there probably isn't anyone without some pollution in their fat cells. Obesity is largely a symptom of fat cell pollution these days. It rarely has to do with actual over-eating. Do you think that obesity has spiraled 200 percent in about 30 years is because we suddenlyl started to eat at 3 times the rate we used to? That's what diet product makers want you to believe.

And no you don't want to lose weight extremely fast. It takes 24 hours to move toxins out of your bloodstream and if you get too many in there at once you end up with............blood poison........toxic shock........and a few whiplash effects on your endocrine and other systems.

You need to be careful when cleaning out just as you do with everything else. You don't want too much waste in your blood all at once. Sometimes when you feel like you have a cold or flu that is actually what is wrong with you. Getting rid of the intestinal build-up is good any time and will only result in fewer toxins floating around in your blood in the first place. But if you stop and look at why people's intestines are so junked up, it's kind of a shame anyhow.

So while you can't keep your blood 100% pure, you can keep it relatively so and prevent much toxic storage. A couple of doses of Milk Thistle daily for a week every couple of months will keep that system kicking. Dandelion purifies blood as does chamomile. For heavy metals ground coriander seeds are awesome. Proper positioning of the body during evacuation will prevent backing your waste system up. Keeping the metabolism adjusted to burn rather than store fat will prevent toxin storage.

Cleansing isn't a bad idea -- it's just that periodic cleansing is just fad health. Continual cleansing in one fashion or another is the only thing that really will work for you in the long run. Today's toxins are extremely invasive and extremely lethal.

Couldn't agree more. Colon cleansing has become a fad, but prevention is the key to good health and prevention is something you do on a day to day basis by exercise, proper hydration, eating healthy food that is as free of crap as possible, and having a good positive state of mind.

FAT LOSS: Yes you will lose weight doing this but I'm not fat so that isn't why I do this. I do it for health and spiritual reasons.

TOXINS: The human body has the most amazing regenerative qualities. When you replace eating solid food with pure lemon or lime juice (and the other stuff in The Master Cleanse), your body starts cleaning itself. Proof is in the way you look and feel after you've done it. You will look younger and feel great. The Master Cleanse is NOT a fast. It is a liquid diet. If your world revolves around eating and you lack self-discipline and are sucking up bottles of prescription drugs, then maybe this isn't for you. On the other hand; IF you have reached the point where that is how your life is; then you probably do need this.

PROFIT: The OP never said anything about colon cleansing when he started this (However, this lemonade diet / The Master Cleanse will clean your colon). There is profit in the colon cleansing niche, but not with The Master Cleanse because it is comprised of stuff you buy at the store like fresh lemons or limes, pure H2O, cayenne, and pure maple syrup.

Lastly; you can consult your allopathic doctors (that are brainwashed in med school to only deal with effects thus ignoring the cause) but until you've done this, then you really have no idea how beneficial this can be for you on several levels.

Okay, I have to get to work now!

No, it just messes with the space-time continuum around your body, altering your preception of time. That's why you look and feel younger when cleansing too (because you actually are).

I did the Master Cleanse for 14 days with the daily salt water flush. Surprising how good I felt during the latter half of it.I was turned off from eating meat for quite some time. However, 2 months later, hamburgers never tasted so good

I'd definitely do it again, but I live in Japan now and it would cost quite a bit to do it here.

What interests me about these type of discussions is that you'll always get people who have very strong opinions on something they've never even tried. I pay little attention to strong opinions backed up with no experience.

When I want to learn some bad *ss Karate, I don't ask the cripple on the chess team.

I've done a variety of cleanses in my life. I have not done the Master Cleanse though. The Ejuva one was pretty sweet. It was a 30 day thing. Sorta spendy, about $300.

I found juice fasting and a psyllium husk powder to be the most effective for me.

The only way to truly know is to experience.

And let me tell you something... "That sh*t don't lie." (literally)
