Well, if me and my friends count, the Jam were gods with some folks stateside. I had the honor of seeing them live and it was awe-inspiring. they belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. |

Here's another one hit wonder band from the 70's. A fairly standard "rock anthem" type song from this Canadian mob. Features 3 siblings (2 boys Ben and Jed along with sister Leslie), who are no doubt Mr and Mrs Krauner's pride and joy. This song first came out in 1978 when I was 15 going on 16. Those were the days when I was into both kinds of music (Heavy and Metal). Yet for some strange reason this video fascinated me back then. See if anyone else can understand why a teenage lad would find it so, erm... fascinating. Failing that, just enjoy the song. |

Wow! I have a lot of listening to do. I have only heard a handful of the many songs listed in this thread. Here's a band that had some success in Holland but never made it in the states. They did some really catchy, albeit very European, tunes that probably never had a chance here.
