How to stop spamming marketer on Craigslist?

A seller on Atlanta Craigslist who is spamming similar ads that have 354 ads. The main body is identical. Mostly IBC totes, plastic barrels, etc, but when I search for motorcycles, his ad comes up in the body copy. Welder? The same ads.

I have used the "prohibited" button 150 times, but I am wearing out! I buy a lot on craigslist and I am getting tired of seeing the same ads, usually, they have nothing to do with what I am searching.

I can search titles only, but sometimes I am looking for something in a certain area of town, and here come a deluge of his ads!

Use this description in Atlanta Craigslist to see his 354 ads. "OVER SEA FUEL CAGE CAGES CAGED"

Is there an automated software that can me send ALL of these ads as "prohibited" and hope that the mods on craigslist will take heed?

    You can't spend your days fighting spam on Craigslist. It will always exist there. I also recommend not getting into a Craigslist flag war with another business. At the end of the day there's just better ways to spend your time marketing your business.

      Thank you for your response. I am not using craigslist as a business. I am a consumer and like to buy there. It seems that most of the time I get this advertiser mostly selling IBC Totes and plastic barrels.

      I run into his ads if I m looking for about any product. Craigslist says that this is against its policy. If I am searching for a particular car. Will get ten hits about a car, but I will get a hundred hits for plastic barrels and have to sort through these until I find what I want.

      I am looking for a software that will separate this spam, so I can target these ads and hit the prohibit list and maybe get craigslist will delete them.

    To be honest, nobody here (probably) really cares about spammers on craigslist.

    I assume you've reported this spammer to Craig's List. If they can't stop the spammer, it's unlikely anyone here can help. Maybe a custom Craig's List viewer is a software idea could have developed and profit from - but in the end you may only find out how hard it is to stop determined spammers.
