About my domain name

One site give me one full year free hosting.The administrator said that :
Send me yr domain name so that i can setup for u asap. If i send him my domain name for setup i can take some risks?To loose my domain name?Also after the one free year of hosting i can leave my domain without problems?I can transfer my domain to another host before or after "the free hosting year"?Those websites who give free hostings are a good cheap way to make some business like blogging,wordpress,affilliate marketing etc...?Thanks for the attention.

    Depends on why it is you are given free hosting.

    You have registered a domain? If so, it's good for as long as you keep it registered by paying for it each year.

    You don't need to move the domain - just repoint the dns to the hosting server - host will tell you how to do it.

    Your domain name is not a secret - no reason not to tell someone who is setting up a site for you.

      Like Kay said.
      You send him your domain name.
      Then he sets up your hosting account and will send you the nameserver names.
