You might ask that question on the Pinterest Community Forum. I hope you found that helpful.

Yes, overall this forum is run well, and it is consistent.

The thing about some businesses is that they are full of annoying inconsistencies.

The Pancake Parlour in AU, Vic, (near me) is a good example; l went there for years, and they always had the air con on full blast, every summer, (so much so it was too cold) always had the lights turned up, so you could easily read the paper.

And now, they seem to rotate through different managers, for a year or so, we had one manager that dimmed the lights in most parts of the restaurant, so you strained your eyes trying to read it, (other areas, it was virtually impossible to read, (and they did supply their own papers).

This happened at 5pm every day, and you could ask to turn them up, (which was annoying).

Then we recently had a new asian manager that finally got it, and left the lights alone, (he wasn't there for long).

Now very recently we have a new one, some guy that reeks of tobacco, and craps on that the lights are fixed and cannot be turned up!

So yeah, l may go back and put up with sitting in the back part, so the stupid lights stay at full illumination, or go elsewhere, but with the restaurant next door closing its doors, and a lot of stupid restaurants down stairs, that have an aversion to hot drinks, they know that they call the shots.

Unless l go down there on Sunday earlier than normal, and read the paper in the shopping ctr.

Anyway, yeah, a business that stays consistent, tends to have recurring patronage, or if it makes changes does so after a lot of feedback or thought.

The coffee shop in David Jones, same thing, it was great for a year or so, then went down the ramming products down the customers throats, so much so, it closes at 4 or 5 or when the owner wants, and stare at products when sitting down.

I figure that it will be closed within a year?

    Food for thought.

Thanks Tagiscom for the wonderful story. It does help alot.

Thats so interesting, because the ramming products down peoples throats.
Kind of reminds me of how many emails I receive of the same product multiple times a day from fellow marketers, which is pretty annoying to me.

I dont put them on my spam list because they do have interesting stuff sometimes. But just the repeat of emails of the same thing is like ok I got the idea the first email.

I dont know I guess people must like getting bombarded with the same emails over and over again in one day.

Or it make just make alot of money for marketers. I decided to try a different approach and not send many emails to the same list over and over, and space out the days I send. And try to make them different each time.

Yes, l get that also, and have occasionally clicked on some, but they tend to be some BS, system, that l looked into in the past.

No doubt that you are on their throwaway list, and spamming you or crapping on how wonderful this scammy PPL, thing is, is the only way to get you off their list or make a buck?

But yeah, David Jones, l went there a month ago, at 4pm, they used to always close at 5.30, and found that they were closed.

Nothing more annoying than a business that closes when it feels like it.

Or one that forces you to sit on stupid, short table and chairs, (very hard to read a paper on that, or eat anything for that matter) while staring at bottles of pickles beside you.

It really sucks that management is so stupid about it, all of their cakes are really good, (l have tried most of them trying to find something that tastes horrible, but couldn't).

All l can think of it they are closing to down by a certain date, and are milking it for all that it is worth?

Or they are not closing it down, and are just F***wits, that don't have a clue, (probably some idiot manager that only drinks beer at a bar, and doesn't get it).

But yeah, either way the business is a train wreck in slow motion, (l walked past it recently, and it was open, but empty).

Nope, from my perspective it is a train wreck, but from their viewpoint, as other business online or off, it is all down to profits!

If a business stays open all day and usually only makes a few bucks in the afternoon, then the managers will mess with that, or start closing early and other crap, eventhough peak hours compensate, or should.

It may make good business sense, but if it p***s off the regulars, who occasionally spend up big there, then long term, not so much.

Restricting a business for more money, is fine to a point, but some business's go to far with that.

Then the train goes off the rails and the businesses inevitable decline into mediocrity or the cliff is inevitable.
