  At one time A Best Web was the top affiliate forum.
  It was formed when the CJ forum went to HELL
  ABW went for 10 years and fell apart for many reasons.
  Anyway, I here and can speak to about 50 affiliate programs that we manage.

Cool, then you should definitely be able to give good advice about affiliate marketing!

Watch out for crossing that self-promotion line. When you say you can "speak to about 50 affiliate programs that we manage," it looks to me you're getting close.

  Self-promotion includes posting links but so much more. For example, if you added your site name without a link that could still cause problems. Saying "PM me" or "see my sig" are also no-nos.
  
  Basically doing anything to call attention to yourself in an attempt to get people to contact you, buy from you, join your list, or anything like that is off-limits.
  
  Having said that, welcome. We need some good folks that can share some good content and help out with all the questions that are asked every day.
