I discovered this.
Wages make you a living, Profits make you a fortune - From Jim Rohn

It's totally true. After i finished my study in university
I got a good job, then each time i got paid.

I had a feeling, not just one time, a lot of times.
The feeling about something wrong.

And now i know exactly what it was.
It was: "It's so difficult to get rich or living my dreams with that number"

So if i want more, i will need to work more. But one day only have 24 hours

That's not a good idea. Then i saw this key - Wages make you a living, Profits make you a fortune

Everything become clear. I know exactly what to do in order to create what i want.

What do you think about this message from Jim Rohn?
Did you ever hear about this phrase?

No, not specifically, but l got that idea from Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

Although l tend to create income producing assets, then try to create another before cashing out.

And yeah, l am doing that with flyers as we speak, it will take a few years to make an income from it, but the big difference is it goes up substantially year after year, while an income goes up slightly.

So l end up in my 80's disgustingly rich, (l am 51) while someone who works for others, is usually broke, and borrowing from his nearest, to cover fixing the house or themselves in their 80's.

Yes, when l see a gov, super ad on tv, l cringe!

To a lot of older folks this is common knowledge. I can see how it would be a revelation to younger folks. The "trick" is figuring out how to create and then continue to increase profits in the first place.

    I like it.

For me, it is about designing a life of freedom. Beyond money, but of course; when you make freedom your goal, and if you live a worldly life, freedom in the form of money will find you.

  • Hi,
I heard similar phrase to Jim Rohn's. Tai Lopez said: 'College degree will make you a living, self-education will make you a fortune.' Don't know if those are his own words but are totally true.

No, not yet but I always watch and read all the top billionaire in the world are focusing on making profit with their own business, and as per them working on a company as an employee is good but making your own is much better.

Absolutely. No one gets rich by being a regular employee working a 9-5 job. Rich people (technically) don't work. Others work for them. They have businesses making their passive incomes. They are duplicating their time and effort through other people. Each of us only have 24 hours in a day but these people make more because they have other people doing the job for them.

Depends on your definition of rich. I know a couple who live in a house I'd estimate is worth at least 750k. They travel the world. They have the money to do anything they want, really. And yet, both have always worked for one business or another. Neither has ever had their own business.

Most people I know that have beautiful homes are really people with good jobs, not business owners.

I live in a very nice area and I'm one of te few business owners. Most are professionals; lawyers, pilots, accountants, engineers....that sort of thing.

The truth is, if you manage your finances well, you can accumulate a small fortune by the time you are 60. If you buy right, invest right, and don't spend every dime you make...you will eventually make a great life.

It also helps if you bought a home when real estate was going up, and invested when the stock market was down. A mutual fund bought in 2008 has tripled in value.

Don't laugh, I've made a small fortune selling to people in trailer parks. And some of them are pretty high end.

I remember those day's when you were known as The Rubbermaid Demon. A name that you still retain at the Wooster Business Gentleman's Bathhouse, Wheel Tappers and Shunter's, Sauna & Mixed bathing, Hard Fetish Emporium.
