Help with using an iPhone 4S as a media player for my car.

I have inherited an iPhone 4S 16GB from a friend that recently upgraded to an iPhone 8. I am not an "Apple Guy" so, your suggestions would be appreciated.

        Yes - as with most things 'Mac' - they tend to last forever and can be used long after most products would have found their way to the tech trash heap, whether or not you can take them apart or they might give off a funny smell.
