Persistence I guess the key to be successful in any field and when it comes to be an entrepreneur it is no different. With persistence one should also keep on looking for new ideas to keep improving itself and its business. And before one choose to become an entrepreneur, he/she should know its potential and should set realistic goals and should be ready to accept the truth that at some point you would be required to have a team in order to move forward.

YOU CANNOT DO IT ALL ALONE.

A willingness to look things up for yourself would be a start:

What do l consider,.....making a cup of tea, is a momentous undertaking that only a few succeed at.

A cream bickie on the side, forget it, that is superhuman territory!

Obviously, not much. Not hard to see why you would defend a thread like this - gives you somewhere to post ...twice...

If I was an entrepreneur I would define success simply as financial freedom.

Having a business that sustains itself and the lifestyle I choose. Not having to worry about money anymore. If I wanted to do something I can do it and not worry about the cost. That is what I call success.

The ability to spot opportunities in fields that are usually high loss, and consistency make money from it while some scoff at the likelihood that it can be done.

I agree. When I look at an opportunity, my first question is "How much money can I lose?" And if that number is "Everything I have"...you can count me in.

I think the idiots that cut their loses quickly, and only keep investing in the winners could learn a lot from you. I know I have.

I was sorely tempted to buy some shares when you floated the SS on the Stock Exchange a couple of years back. However, I was put off when I read the small print and realised you were paying the dividends in donuts. Even though they were the caramel topped ones.

Success as an entrepreneur will be "achieving your goals".

Example - making $500 per month.

I'd say it is the ability to build the business up to the level where you can outsource it and become/remain financially free. It is also the ability to look for & find new unusual ways to increase your traffic/sales.
