I've seen people line up 50 deep at Thrashers. All they sell is French fries and their "secret" is they use peanut oil to fry them. Note that there's no ketchup...

Putting on Salt and Malt Vinegar was and still is a British thing. We never had ketchup on them either. Have the US finally caught up to this taste sensation?

You didn't even have potatoes until you got them from America.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

Chips are a suitable accompaniment. The perfect accompaniment is the garbage can.

And a piece of lemon on the side, (we call lemon, lemon in AU)!

So to bring US residents up to speed, Ketchup is Sauce, Lemon is Lemon, the Thrashing things are called Chips or Wedges, Serviettes, are the square cloth you wipe your mouth with, (yeah, l know Kurt, open door to a Claude joke).

But we always have room for a Jumbuck afterwards!

I have never tried punching a garden gnome in the face while pooping on his head.

A word of advice - punch, then poop. It gets messy the other way round.

It's Malt Vinegar you buffoon, balsamic is vastly inferior on fries.
