I just joined this community and I would like to know how I create my sigature as something other than my url link. I notice a lot of people simply have an intrigueing sentence which act as a link... how I do I do this please?
With thanks,
Adam

  • In the signature editor, write the text you want to be a link. Highlight this text in the editor. Then click the icon in the editor toolbar that looks like a globe with a chain on its lower right, and type the URL where you want people to go. Then click OK.
  • Hi Adam,

    Just a friendly head's up.

Affiliate links are not allowed in forum signatures.

You may also want to check out the rules, just to avoid any other potential misunderstandings.

  • Jon, go to User CP > Edit signature.
Now, see all of those icons just above your signature text? See the one that looks exactly as CDarklock described? Click on it.

    • Just found the solution. Go to Edit Options>Miscellaneous Options>Message Editor Interface. Mine was set to basic. Changed now to Standard Editor
  • That's the whole point, I don't see any icons whatsoever.
  • Edit your signature, you can slect some text to set a link like mine.
  • If you can't see any icons there, just use HTML code for your signature.

    • Won't work - think you need to use BB code...[] not <>
