Calling all Warriors time to help a Warrior out and its not me!

I guess things have changed that warriors are now to preoccupied in there own self worth that there is no real community just a BS one now it is all for ones self

I was not getting anything out of this but to help a mate who needs it and I guess just shows how much people who really care

Thanks to all the Warriors who have read thread but not replied , and a big thanks to the warriors I have been in contact with via PM just a shame nothing happened

BTW Bosses had agreed to the Special WSO just a real big shame we cant get the shit together to make it happen

What l can offer, l have some products that wouldn't get anywhere near $25 and $50, but l believe that this will.

I have screenshots, etc from when l ran this as a WSO here a few years ago, (graphics showing its use, l mean).

So formatting it shouldn't take that long.

And l do have $100 WSO sticky offer that l havn't used as well as a $50 classified as for the offer, so it would be a shame to waste those?

Hopefully l could use the buy button script for this as a stand alone WSO as well as in your WSO offer, hmmm, may have to check that with the mods, but yeah, great to cash in all of those freebies for a good cause.

The problem is, it's all on CDs. I'd be happy to mail it all anywhere right away...but I don't know how to convert to a file. You would have to do that.

I can't donate my Kindle books. Amazon would cancel my books if they found out. I could donate my first drafts though on PDF. The Cds are better anyway. Interviews, speeches, the audio parts of products I've sold.

  I would love to. He's been gone for a year. And the files are somewhere on one of my computers....I have no idea where.

  By the way, a few months ago, I threw away maybe 10,000 DVDs and CDs of my older courses, speeches, and interviews. They were just taking up space and gathering dust.   I should write a book on How To Create A Course On Advertising, Print Out 1,000 Copies, Sell 200 Copies, And Then Eventually Throw 800 Copies In The Dumpster. I will scratch my head to see if I have anything.

I remember years ago we did something like this but, as my memory fades, I forget for whom it was done. The price of each item varies enormously but the value was twofold.
1. Helping the receiver...In this case it's Sal.
2. Providing a fantastic package for those who bought it for the set price.

It's not stuff I'm currently selling. I'm not sure the price point matters all that much. I think we're all just adding to a "Brain dead obvious value" here, to sell lots of copies.

In two days time it will be two weeks, so l think that Regional Warrior has got caught up in other things, (understandable considering his friend recently took his life).

And it will be some time before we will get something that we can use.

From what she said here, she is slowly working towards a full recovery, but since she is sicker now, than she will be in the future, the sooner we get this going the better.

I think that l am going to do some Sal Charity graphic,s (l will post the graphic links here, when that gets done) resurrent my old WSO, and deal with the charity drive offer when it happens.

At least l can transfer $$$ over to her, (Sal has a Paypal account) when l have used up all of my free stickys, and ad's here).

But anyway l still have this frickin flu, so will do some banners, etc and post it here when l can.

It is up to others if they want to wait, but l will be slowly going ahead, and supplying some graphics regardless of how this ends up.

Ok, here are the buttons, l am pretty happy with them.

Pretty sure that everyone should be able to right click and Save As, to download these.

I will very likely be using one of these for the WSO, when l get there.

They are all PINGS, and come in three sizes, or six buttons without any background and three without a background with a shadow.

Hey everyone
Sorry not been around but the retched bad luck struck again and let's say airport car park a pole and I woke up a few days ago in hospital
So in a bit of a haze due to the meds but I think the gofund me page would be bertter in the long run

As much as I would have love to have run the WSO time is against us now so whom ever is setting it up the Gfm page can you PM pls so I can find out what is being done
Been told I can go home Friday this week, anyway not Abzug me this those process is about Sal and to get some funds to her ASAP so she can get the good meds

Here you go Dan, the size is exactly that same size as the enlarged WF one, and right clicking then saving as image, should give it to you.

This one has a more inspiring message.

As well as linking to the original buttons, (flowers, etc).

And does that link allow for a credit card and Paypal donation?

The Warrior Forum graphic is on me. It forced me to put a in a pic in order to "complete" the registration. It wasn't until I got home and looked at the dashboard on my computer that I saw an option to skip certain things (like adding a picture). The option wasn't the on mobile.

Bitcoins, lol, nah wouldn't touch those, Tulips all the way.

I have already made a donation, with the WSO being next, but l might do a donation graphic so members can put that on their posts, (with the link you supplied) first.

I will use my own PP account for the WSO, as l don't want Sal to go through any BS around chargebacks and such. And when l have drained as much $ from it, then it will be closed down again.

But yeah, Dan l saw no PayPal option, eventhough l have a PP account.

Since Jason is out for now, I will do what I can to help this get set up. I would love to hear some thoughts from all of you about how you would like it marketed as. I'm not sure that calling it a "Whole big package of stuffs" is going to fly.

Thank you Mike, l will ditch the WF logo, and change the quote, as it was from google images, (but as l remember, some images, etc that look free are not).

Me in charge, No, just tired of this not moving, so l am pretty much taking over the graphics part.

I am still getting over a nasty flu and can handle the graphics, and can barely handle the WSO, but l couldn't take this on.

And l am using my own PP account for the WSO, since it is quite complex to create three price points, (l will probably go with three, as they sold the most) and my last sale for the Wordpress UA, here was from a thief using a dodgy credit card. And that was a direct sale, not affiliated, as the vast majority of stolen CC, were from crappy affiliate lists or traffic.

Most of the time PayPal fixes it, and on rare occasions it doesn't, or it comes out of my pocket.

So since l need full access to my PP account, l will need to use mine. And l also have about $150 dollars worth of free advertising here for that, which is another reason l want to plug that by itself.

All of those were approved by admins for the previous owner. Last fundraiser here was for Tim Pears if I recall - and don't know how that turned out in the end. Jason Kanigan took point on that.

Shane -

If you are using your paypal acct and making decisions 'about' the WSO - then put it together and get it launched. If you aren't doing the WSO - find someone willing to do it and let them make the decisions.

DAN - Can the Paypal acct you set up for the gofundme also be used for the WSO payments? I don't know - but might be the best way.

Regional Warrior had the original idea and it's a good one. He has been unable to go on with it. Time to stop conjecturing and joking - and get a WSO launched. Ask permission of FL admins for some of us to put a link to "support sal" in our sigs (for a limited amt of time - 2 -4 weeks perhaps)....

The WSO doesn't have to be massive - just enough to get the 'subject' in front of people and offer them an alternative to 'buy or donate'....and give something to put in our sigs....

I'm stretched too thin at this time to do more than donate - .but someone needs to step up and get it done.

Theresa may be able to help (not volunteering her - don't know her schedule) but whoever takes the lead needs to be supported, not second guessed. As they say - 'time is of the essence'.

I don't know that linking a WSO to the GFM campaign is a good option. It creates a logistical hurdle for the buyer and the seller, i.e. a donation is made and then the buyer has to forward a donation receipt to Sal (or whomever). Secondly, GFM takes a cut. I assume there are also withdraw transaction fees. I assume a direct Paypal payment would be less costly. However, I don't know that for a fact. Someone reading this does. Please chime in.

But, to your point, I have Sal's paypal address. With Sal's permission, we can link whatever WSO to it for payment processing.

From what l have seen done in the past, someone only needs to enlarge some letters for the header, etc, with normal text for the rest.

The only tricky part is putting everyone's product images into a display frame.

So does everyone know how many products there are all up?

I think a sub-domain is fine - gives you the ability to put a 'sal' label on it as a 'sub' title....whatever is easiest for you.

  I mentioned this to Dan, but the reason for the subdomain is it's attached to a journal/journey that Sal is going to keep updated. I think it's important that others can see the progress she's making..... and SHE IS MAKING progress!!!!

You do realize you are posting all this on a public forum???

All you need to do is get your own product ready to go and send the link to Theresa's email as she requested.

SHE is now in charge of the WSO because she stepped up to get it done. She does not need suggestions or second guesses. If she wants graphics or other help, she will ask for it. She knows we're willing to help if and when she needs it.

Please let her get this done without bugging her so we can continue to support Sal. Theresa's concern was that other members would want to talk about and make suggestions and make changes....and she doesn't have time to deal with that. I told her I'd run 'interference' - that's what I'm doing in this post.

Bugging her, run interference, well, in light of my previous remarks, (no need to delve into that) but it is pretty obvious that l am doing neither!

I offered my services, since learning Photoshop is like learning a new language, or it is vast and takes years to get good at it.

Or assuming that Theresa knows little about cs2 or graphic design, l can do something like this much more quickly and easily than someone with little experience could.

It is always better to ask first instead of assume!

PS Theresa, l will send you the updated product frames asap, (probably tomorrow AU time).

Just a suggestion, but I think this thread should just be for calling on anyone that wants to contribute and help.

For all the details of getting this setup and getting things sorted out, I suggest someone open an account with Slack or something like it. It's basically a free (although they have a paid version) chatroom any idiot could figure out how to use. You can invite in as many people as you want. I think hashing out some of this stuff behind closed doors would be better and more professional.

Ok, Theresa, yes, bad bug, probably the one spreading across AU, as we speak.

I am in my third week with this mongrel, and am getting better, but stress tends to hinder recovery.

I won't have any issues with the graphics side of things, as l tend to find that relaxing, and have the Sal WSO button already ready.

So don't hesitate in throwing the graphics side my way, and take care.

OK, I'm new at this Go Fund Me stuff, but Sal has been granted full and sole ability to withdraw funds from the GFM campaign. I have no way to withdraw funds.

Dammit, l was going to buy some Apricot stocks tomorrow, but Tulip, inc is going cheap.

Ok, same deal, right click and save image as, to download, but making it a link is trickier.

The easiest way is to put the cursor on the graphic, hold down control and press C, (copy) then in your editing post, press control V, and it should reappear, then click on it and go up to the link option.

If you want to go the more tech, route, you may need to put the original image elsewhere, l use Imgur, which is a good free one, but there are others, (l think that Dropbox is paid now).

But everyone downloading and popping this down the bottom of their posts should increase donations and giving this a plug.

So, I have an idea, you all help me figure out a path for this sucker and let's get it going. How does everyone feel about putting together a sort of 'great tools for your business", or "Essential tools for your business"..somewhere in that category?

My contributions are going to be great subjects for newsletters .. or something. The mods poo pooed PLR (these are all written by moi, not rehashed junk), So, I'm thinking I need to just white label it? Is that the right term?

There are a LOT of subjects and I was just going to bundle them. Any suggestions would be awesome!

IMO it would probably be easier to just create a PDF with links to all the downloads instead of having Theresa have to curate and upload them all. I'm already hosting my contribution.

Plus, this gives us control over our products.

So I am out of hospital still recovering from the hit and run , so glad to see that this thread did not die

Even though I almost did

Still have some time before everything is OK , so I am so very sorry that I could not help as much as I wanted
I was walking in an airport car park and got nailed by a Taxi bounce off hit a pole and landed through a cars back window

So apart of some bad bruising and a massive concussion came out not to bad

Sorry, I haven't been on here since Dec. 2015 - suffered another serious concussion and skull fracture shortly after my last visit here. I'm getting real tired of these personality changes with each concussion, lol.

OMG Thank YOU! I tried to post a thread, but it won't post. So I'll just respond here.

I am completely overwhelmed by you folks, and I have no clue what the social decorum for this situation is, but I feel I need to thank you all personally for your efforts to help me to reattain my health.

If you have donated a dime, a product, even a few minutes of your time to me, I cannot put into words how extremely grateful and appreciative I am to you. To have so many care about what happens to me is something that I boggles me, and I spend some time now and again thinking back to remember little clues of what I may have done to earn such allegiance from this wonderful group of people. You have humbled me in ways I would have never thought possible.

I've started a blog and have started discussing what all I am doing to beat this crud. You might want to follow along on the blog. Beyond the Path - The Quest Against Cancer

I don't write every day because it's tiring, but I will be adding to it a few times a week. How do you know if I know what I'm talking about or if I'm full of BS? Simple. I'm supposed to be either in Hospice or dead right now. I'm still ambulatory. I am stronger than I was, and can do a few things for myself that the family was doing for me to keep me from collapsing from fatigue. If I live.......I have it right. If I don't.........well.......we all have to make choices when the medical community says "cancer". When they say they can't do anything more for you - you either figure it out on your own, or you don't. It's that simple.

So.......anyway..........
Thank you to each one of you who has offered your support to me in any form. It is more appreciated than I can ever express.

Another Update!

Theresa has been having some difficulties with some of the files and setting up the delivery method. I spoke to her earlier this week and she was on the cusp of having everything finished.

The technical difficulties were fun
The 5 times I accidentally erased the WSO while editing it, then having to start all over was just awesome.
Learning how to insert a freaking PP button because not ONE SINGLE THREAD HERE or on the all-mighty Google is recent... made me pee a little.
*Enter here the 1 million other 'technical difficulties* and I gotta say...

I'm hitching a ride to Happy Hour. And yes Dan, it's a bus.. a short bus and I am in fact licking the windows. S'okay though, I'm sitting in the last seat, close to the emergency exit.

Shane, while I super appreciate your offer on doing the graphics, I just didn't have the time to take on another project with this. ie: Sending you all the links, interacting via email with you about the graphics.. et al.

Now that it's in queue, and once it's approved, then we can always go back and add your graphics if you're willing.

Getting this done was three weeks of OMG!!!! But, there was NO WAY IN H.E. double toothpicks, I was going to leave out the sections I was struggling with... no way.

To add.. there were some delays that were out of my control. It's not an excuse, but an explanation.

As far as 'unsanitary bus windows'.... that's the whole point Shane.

Theresa did a great job and saw this project through - she didn't start the project and didn't have any more time than others did to get it done.

Proud of you, T - I know it wasn't easy. Now there will be customer service questions.

Since Shane was willing to be more involved, maybe he could take over and answer those and handle any technical issues that arise? I think Theresa needs a break.

Put a picture of Sal in the copy near the top

Can't remember where I got it, Jason, but SWSO was used before. Special Warrior Special Offer!

I can edit it, but it still has to be approved by the mods before the changes are made. I've already sent in a few, so I really don't wanna be an ongoing pain in their virtual rears.

I also used 'it' because it stands out. Made you question it.. "hmm, what's a SWSO?" Guess I'll also have to add in there what it means, eh? <-- for you Mr. Canadian.

As I mentioned before, this isn't in my wheelhouse.

I can edit it, but it still has to be approved by the mods before the changes are made. I've already sent in a few, so I really don't wanna be an ongoing pain in their virtual rears.

Couple more quick edits to make I spotted:

Put a picture of Sal in the copy near the top

" They say â€�"It's in the listâ€"

and the "Inside You'll Find" section where what you get is listed, can you turn that into a bullet list, or space each line item out? My eyes slid past it the first time while "reading" the copy ;-)

Easy fixes. I left a comment as well.

Jason, thank you for the help. I will try and submit your changes when I can. However, like I have mentioned, these things don't get done right away, they have to be approved by the mods.

Just so you know, I did create a bullet list. I copy and pasted it, it didn't take. I don't have a picture of Sal, and truth be known, she doesn't want one..

Look folks, I have worked my a$$ off with this, along with my obligations. Right now, I'm way behind on my obligations and I have client's crawling up my rear.

The "gold" is in the WSO. Leave your suggestions in my PM box instead of making me look like a dumb ass, here. Mucho appreciato! *Anyone can take this over if they feel they're a better fit*..

Sure, l am happy to take over the tech, product questions on the WSO.

And it is probably a good idea if someone from the US or UK, etc also helped out, as l live in Australia, so tend to get to questions, when l wake up, or maybe 7 hours after someone from the US has bought it.

Just PM over the required information, Knemosabi, so l can get up to speed with all of the products, thanks.

Update on changes!

I have been working with the mods on getting the updates to the thread to stick. For some reason, the 'update' button refuses to work on my end. I've even tried doing a 'Warrior' dance.. nothing.

However I did get a visit from the 5 0 and was asked to 'keep it down a bit' ..

My neighbors just don't appreciate 'art'.
