Ignore Button

OK. I keep hearing about this incredible ability to be able to never see someone's posts, ever, by hitting a button. Where the hell is it, before I lose what's left of my mind? I must be rescued from the incessant insanity that someone is spewing dozens of times per day.

Please help. I'll pay money!

I've used it myself several times.

    • Here's a tip. Use it on yourself. :-)

      Thanks, Claude.
  • Please don't ignore me - I'll be good, I promise.

    • Who could ever ignore you??? :-)
  • Go to > Your Control Panel >Settings & Options > Edit Ignore List

  • At least Claude hasn't posted in this thread yet.

    • That actually took me a minute.

  • No, still no trace of Claude.

I am sure that when l clicked on "ignore, Claudis Maximus", l got the spelling right?

    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • The main problem with the ignore list is if someone quotes a person you have on ignore, their comment will still seen as a quoted post. If we can only get people to quit quoting Claude's posts we'd be better off.

    • Well, that certainly sucks.

If we could only get people to stop quoting "Mother Teresa's, 'approach IM as a charity and you'll get rich on your good deeds, alone,' the world would be better off and I'd being to keep my breakfast down

Oh, well. It's not a perfect world. Anything is better than nothing.

Most of Claude's post may be idiotic, but they're not stomach churning. :-)
  • Claude has used Riffle as a "Surrogate quoter" for so long I just gave up using it.

  • I will never ignore Claude until I have totally deconstructed and ridiculed his way of thinking and found the ultimate insult that actually hits home. Only then will I be able to die a happy man and descend into hell with a smile.

    • This implies some level of thinking. OK.

    • That was my first guess too.

    • I'll never tell, but if I were you I'd run out and buy a lotto ticket.

Never in my life have I ever, on any forum, anywhere, put anyone on 'ignore.' Usually I can go for the giant laugh, if nothing else.

My PTSD is so much better, now. lol

  • You now owe Claude Monopoly Money.
  • Karma is a mofo biatch...so much for the PTSD remedy
    You're Welcome

    • I really, really, really miss Big Frank. He always could call out the bullshit. I can't hold a candle to that guy.

I heard that he sold his Apple stock, moved to Tahiti and blogs about his unicorn ranch, with a shit-eatin' grin permanently plastered on his face.

  • We all need to be able to ignore the pics of Claude at Comic-Con.

    • Now that is stomach churning, although when someone steals something from a pastry shop, and Claude is there, when they ask "who are you" he doesn't says "Batman".

Claude working it on Sunset Strip?
  • Forget the ignore settings. When are we going to get a "punch in the face" setting?

Every time a specified member of the forum logs in, say for example a garden gnome, a fist would pop out of their screen and punch them in the face. Every time they made a post, another punch.

On another note, a lot of posts in this thread make reference to a "Claude". Who, or what, is this "Claude" to which you refer?
