If you could have either, including full staff to operate and maintain each, would you rather have a yacht or a lear jet?

Gee Kurt, do I really need to pick one?

Damn!!! Oh well, here it goes:

Ok, Yacht for surfing the Mentawais in Indonesia and of course the Lear Jet to fly to Australia, back to Portugal, back to Indonesia, back to Hawaii, back to Portugal.

    (Keep on dreaming!!!)

    What about YOU Kurt?

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

      Hey Fernando...

I'd choose the yacht. The jet makes getting there faster, but with a yacht, getting there is the fun. Basically, a yacht is a home that you can take with you and a jet is a way to get somewhere.

Yacht...hands down. I fell in love with the sea in 1973.

      Yacht.

I lived on a boat for the better part of nine years and I can't even imagine living on a Lear Jet for more than the duration of the flight.

A lot more bikini clad women are found on yachts than on airplanes, as well. At least they were on mine...

I would choose neither. I prefer land-based travel. However, a fully tricked-out luxury coach with driver would be awesome.

Ahhhh yeah I saw those coaches on TV, I wouldn't mind long trips and traffic with that!

Neither one would be advisable unless you have a good accountant to offset the substantial increase in income tax, luxury tax, employee tax, employee social security tax, employee disability tax, and operations insurance.

But, if you would spot me for all of those liabilities, I would definitely pick the lear jet.

Um, I'll take the Lear any day. I like to cruise in my car
and listen to music, have a cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee.

But for long distance travel? I wanna get there and not
screw around. Plus I got sea sick once on the Delaware Bay
on a fishing trip. Oh man. Sucked. Had an aversion to being
    on a boat ever since.

So I'll take the Lear with the hot hostess. Thanks Kurt!

I prefer one of Bombardiers other jets, the Global Express XRS.

Bombardier | Aerospace | Business Aircraft | Bombardier Global XRS Performances

It's range is unsurpassed. I want a jet so I can go anywhere, anytime
on a moments notice. The XRS can depart with 30 minutes warning.

As soon as I meet Novembers rent I will start saving up. It only costs
      $50 million.

Thinking in terms of fuel prices I would choose neither of the two. I would get a nice fast decent sized sail boat that I can sail myself if I cannot find help.

A Falcon 7X would be nice to have but again in these times of depression and with the Global Warming hype - which I consider a total scam - maybe it is better to have a sailboat.

    There's an old saying...

The 2 best days of a boat owners life - the day he buys his boat. The day he sells his boat.

I love airplanes. My choice is simple.

I have never been into horses, just not my thing. However, at a local Medieval Fair one of the performers mounted a fine horse, so much so that I was almost hypnotized by its prescence.

      Yes, it was a Friesian.

      Excellent choice!

It all depends on which one I could sell for more

Like Michael said, I'd take a John Madden mobile any day of the week.

Come to think of it, those are called land yachts.

Call me the girl who wants it all if you like, but I just would have to have both! The Lear jet to go jetting off to the best of shopping in all countries.

And the yacht, which must include it's own swimming pool because I'm not too keen on being shark bait, and that would be for the tropical sun and surf that I so crave! That I live for...So why in the heck do I live in Michigan??

Right now I would rather choose the jet. The reason is because I would be able to travel the world a lot faster and wouldn't be restricted to just the beaches. It would also be nice if I could learn to fly it myself.
