I Will Always Remember When I Saw
The Most Beautiful Eyes
In The World ...
I was on Holiday in Spain (when I was 18 with my
Family) and began chatting to a Welsh girl named
Jodi. When I first met her I just liked her however
after spending more time with her I realized that I
loved her.
After coming back from a Pub quiz (on my last
night) I noticed her in the bar and I had never
seen anyone so happy to see me with a gorgeous
smile ...
She had scars all up her arms where she
self-harmed herself (because her "friends" made
her take drugs which is pretty much the same
thing that happened to me.)
After talking some more there was a moment
when I looked into her eyes and it was like
recognizing an old friend and I literally thought.
"Oh my God, I love you."
We then walked around the bar hand-in-hand and
played some pool. Some time later I looked at my
watch in disbelief because the hour or so passed
by in what seemed like a moment.
I looked at her and I had never seen anyone look
so sad. I said to her
"Let's go outside to talk ..."
Because I wanted to tell her not to harm herself,
However she just kissed me and we literally made
out under the stars at midnight. We then went
outside to my bus and I remember seeing a scared
look in her eyes and she quickly lent forward to kiss
me again. Then I did something that I will forever
regret I said:
"I can go now."
Then we parted and I still remember watching her
walk up the stairs back to The Hotel.
For the next 20 minutes or so I was fine when
listening to the Coldplay album "A Rush Of Blood
To The Head" however I then realized how much I
loved her and cried pretty much all the way home.
There's one song especially that I can't listen to
without crying: "Green Eyes."
She kind of saved my Life. I was going through
a really difficult time growing up and after
meeting her I felt as though a massive weight
had been lifted from my shoulders.
I hope I see those beautiful eyes again
some day.
