TV Huricane Reporters

I just made the mistake of turning on the TV. An endless stream of douche bags being buffeted by the winds. It's beyond ridiculous.

Every year I pray for the flying stop sign decapitation. Disappointed every single year.

Then I realize - even if it actually happened, it wouldn't change a single thing as they believe they'll look more brave to their audience, doing the same thing, even after such an occurrence.

STOOOOOOOPID!!!

    I remember the "Cantore, go home" signs before Katrina.


    Here's the thing:


    These weatherpersons vie to be 'the one to be at ground zero of this hurricane'. They willingly volunteer to stand out in the weather - and they are proud of the connections that allow them to do that on camera. They dress for the part and love every minute of it.


    Thirty years from now they may claim they were mistreated and abused - that they 'only did it' to keep their jobs and get promotions they were - taken advantage of.. the networks and stations should never have forced them to be out in the bad weather - should not have put them at risk. Big story - heads will roll - 30 years from now.

      That was good. Like the ones below it also. The one in Wayne NJ where the boardcaster is in the boats and the guys just walk by in about mid cafe water. Or the lady getting hit in the face by the flying stop sign was priceless. Here is a similar one on youtube about the 19 second mark -
