I believe that the room full of mirrors may carry health risks for one of our members.

I believe that the room full of mirrors may carry health risks for one of our members.

What can we learn from this?

My first thought is that we are seeing one thing..that is actually another thing.
Our minds play tricks on us, because they are trying to create a recognized pattern...and getting it wrong.

Our brain can actually argue with itself. You see something that is impossible, and your visual cortex is telling you that it's real...and your memory is telling you that it isn't.

One of my favorite illusions is a statue that looks like one thing, from one angle...and another thing from a different angle.
And that's why we have arguments. We see the same thing from our own perspective, and are convinced that we are seeing the whole thing.

Anyway, an interesting exhibit. I just wish we learned something about how we think from it.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

well less about how people think and more about how people perceive ..and many people don't mind having their perceptions tampered with.. as long as there is no harmful risk ..or long term negative

most of what is in hollywood movies.. from how people act at work.. to how people drink.. to cars that explode ..period without any explosives .. is heavily based on illusion ..

generally peoples reality is boring and it is entertaining when normal things don't conform to reality ..

now social media is really a horrible illusionary device as people tend to put their best points in the day or fake a great point to make thier lives seem more interesting than they really are.. so it leads many to believe their lives kind of suck compared to all these other on social media

      that nort a scientific proclamation..
