Scary to think that on the battlefield, one of these things can outpace you if scaling small obstacles, but thankfully it can't run fast,...yet.

Probably cost half a million each, and some crackpot regime will nobble one with a thermal sheet and a baseball bat?

        i can answer this .. but i can't do it without risking getting banned .. but a hint of the answer i want to give is maybe a robot can give me a better orgasm than than a woman can .. hell a robotic hand that can do the trick .. would be all that's needed .. if that is all i needed a woman for .. or marry a woman for .. but guys who can achieve intimacy with a robot.. probably already have intimate relations with a verity of inanimate objects ..

        so men who will chose robots over real woman probably already can't achieve intimacy with real woman ..or are already perceived as creepy ..and would not be in marriages with real woman to begin with

                ok .. i really can't add the comment i want to add .. so playing it safe .. the reason to use robots instead of humans for any tak is because you can leave out the annoying traits of humans.. and get the job done faster and more efficient ..

                no need to program robots with the annoying qualities of human behavior

    the military probably has it's own killer robot programs in place rather than trying to weaponize civilians robots ..

    the problem is not just the price ..but the skill sets to maintain and deploy these on fron lines ..and most non whether government can put 300 soldiers on the ground nicely equipped for the cost of one of these ..

    before killer robots there will probable be super suits or powered armor for trained soldiers ..

    but you will probably not see humanoid robot soldiers but self driving tanks or armored vehicles or wheeled recon drones ..

    the little danging dog like robot my only cost 20-30 thousand usd or less .. and they are being designed to use 3d printed parts as much as possible .. instead of putting weapons on it it can easily be set up to support real soldiers ..
