    i think this is in the poorest possible 'taste' - and was hoping the financial problems would kill the project.


    Made in China - a copy of a ship that sank killing over 1500 people. Anything for a buck, I guess.

    I guess they figure that the number of original crew, etc left filing a lawsuit will be minor, although some descendants might try.

    Would need to be a minimum of 106 years old so doubt anyone is 'left'.

    Clive Palmer's Titanic II cruise ship now set for 2022 launch date

    Apparently in todays terms, a first class ticket was 50,000 pounds, but apparently it won't cost that much.

    From what l have heard the navigation is spruced up, but everything else is the same or similar to the original.

    I can't believe that they will keep the coal fired generators from the original, but it does have 4 smokestacks, and a diesel generator would be cleaner, but wouldn't stay true to the original.
