    ^ 'Radio music'.

On a positive note, we've got so many options to avoid it. I only recognise Ariana Grande, solely for the fact she was performing when the Manchester bombing happened.

My last 10, according to Alexa:

    1. Frederick Chopin - Nocture No 2.
    2. Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits
    3. Harry Chapin - Cats in the Cradle
    4. Ocean Colour Scene - Better Day
    5. Fleetwoood Mac - Landslide
    6. Chuck Berry - Jonny B. Goode
    7. Strauss - Collection
    8. Lindsay Buckingham - Never going Back Again
    9. Philip Glass - Opening
    10. Atoms for peace - Before Your very Eyes

I run my own Classic Rock station with a 3,000 cut playlist. The problem is I am always on the lookout for music that I like, that I think my listeners will like, also.

I guess I should say that the station has a classic rock foundation, but it is a bit more eclectic than that. I go to the iTunes store every week to sample the latest cuts to see if there is anything I can add to my playlist. Rarely, if ever, do I find anything apropos for my station.

I usually wind-up digging-up an old track from decades, ago - that escaped my first programming go 'round. I'm OK with that. Honestly. I program the station 100% to my listening pleasure.

My joy, all summer long, is to cruise down to the Jersey shore with the top down, streaming my station, knowing that I am not going to be subjected to a single song that I won't enjoy hearing. lol Summer days don't get much better than that, except maybe when I'm streaming the music to my dock while I bob in the lake for hours on end. Have I mentioned that life is good??? :-)

Still, it would be nice to be able to add music that does not assault one's senses and is not auditory insult.

The lst 10 tracks I have added to my playlist.

      "Eleanor Rigby" - Aretha Franklin

      "Big World" - Stevie McCrorie

      ""Connection" - OneRepublic

"Everyone Thinks I Dodged a Bullet" - Greg Laswell

"Hey Jack Kerouac" - 10,000 Maniacs

"Touch of Grey" - Grateful Dead

"Ladies of the Canyon" - Joni Mitchell

      "Stand Back" - Stevie Nicks

      "Heartbeat" - The Fray

"Wasted On The Way" - Crosby Stills & Nash

      Some old and some new.

      Cheers.

I guess I can survive reading the words. Listening to the actual cuts? Not so sure!

It's rumored that he killed himself after being forced to listen to his own music. It's referred to as "Kurt Cobain Syndrome."
