My cousin is having trouble finding a job in her field. She is a qualified industrial designer, but wants to add in UI/UX to her resume.

Now, I guess what I am asking is..Are there any examples of a great resume that incorporates these things anywhere? I am looking for ANY examples of successful UX/UI resume examples anywhere.

Also any advice for resume building in this field.

Thanks

She wants no part in what I do, and her own career, but thanks for being helpful.

Have you tried Google? A 5 second search gave me a bunch of examples that could be used.

      Yes,

But I was seeing if anyone on here had any actual advice, not just random Google examples.

I thought that was pretty obvious, she should 3D print out her resume.

Obviously too much work, printing all of the text out, so her resume in a box, or structure with moving parts showcasing her talents.

Send her resume in a scaffolding box, with a clever way to open it, should make it stand out from the other pile they have to wade through.

So much so it may even be shown around the office.

I have messed around with 3D printing, and know that it could be done fairly cheaply, but she may need a 3D printer depending on how many she is sending off.

I can't tell if you're trolling or being serious, but this is actually a good idea

        I am being serious now...

I (100 years ago) entered into a contest, to create an image of a set for a popular tv show, when l was a kid.

I didn't win, but the guy that did created a 3D model of the set, and got on television to talk to Darryl, (Hey, Hey Its Saturday for Australians) about it.

So it should be an effective way of getting an interview.

Obviously if it was personalized, (goes for a car design job, and makes the box for the resume look like a car, with a key to open it) should guarantee an interview, at least.

        Good luck.

You can search the resume examples on google. It will provide you the best result.

I don't know, but when she gets it figured out, she should send her resume here. God knows they certainly could use a UI developer.
