Sorry about the link source - but it was the best article on this 'marketing spoof'. Brillkiant marketing - though i'm not sure the influencers involved would agree...

It was on ABC news last night and the pretentious influencers made me laugh out loud.So full of themselves....


It must be 'funny news' day - another story on several sites about a man who applied for a marriage license in D.C. and listed New Mexico as his home....and was told he needed to produce passport and visa as New Mexico is a foreign country.

    you know I tend to have a very outside the norm view of this kind of thing .. after making 3000 dollars in a few hours selling sneakers and shoes for 200 , 300 or 600 dollars in one store .. that they are selling for 20 to 40 dollars a pair in big chains stores ..

    And no one thought .. We are in the wrong business ..

      i watched the add that ended with the woman ..having said she would spend 400-500 for the pair of shoes ..or having paid that..asking the did i just pay to much question ..


      if i was going to spend that much for a pair of shoes /sneaker .. they would have to be custom made ..not of the shelf in any store..not that i would spend that much right now .. but one thing that really effect my energy level and stamina .. is the quality of my shoes and to get the best i need custom made ..

    LOL this is classic. The IG Influencer crowd makes me laugh; every influencer is self-appointed and....is not an influencer. Of course, the real high rollers aka people who know their niche inside out rarely if ever call themselves influencers.

    Yep, we see this all of the time in AU, where people are selling plastic sunglasses for close to $100, or jeans for $120, eventhough markets sell them for $25.
