Posting affiliate links prohibited?

Hi there, I'm new here.
I've been looking for a blogging forum to post an affiliate link.
It's something like advertising though but it's not really advertising, I'm just trying to introduce the world or a small section of it to a website that pays you for reading and commenting on their posted articles.
I'm required to post an article about them together with my affiliate link before getting paid.
I just want to know if I can post something like that here

No you may not post those links in posts here. Well, actually you can if you want everything deleted and to be banned.

What you can do, though, is pay for a signature for $5 and point members to your own website (not the affiliate company) and try to get them to click from there.

Thank you for your information. but with that being said, are referral links also prohibited? Or I shouldn't bother post any links whatsoever?

Referral links are affiliate links. So already answered.

Your signature must link to your own domain or a listing owned by you on any of the Warrior Market Places. If you have paid for an image signature you are exempt from this rule.

An image in your sig, is more expensive, but it does allow you to put in an affiliate link.

Actually, the rules don't say you cannot post your affiliate link in your sig. It says...

Your signature must link to your own domain or a listing owned by you on any of the Warrior Market Places. If you have paid for an image signature you are exempt from this rule.

And it doesn't say the domain you own and link to can't redirect to an affiliate URL. So the way it's written, aff links are "legal" as long as you use a redirect from your own domain. But you do have to pay the $5 lifetime fee.

I remember when this rule was put in place back when Allen Says owned WF. He did it to cut down on the # of pseudo spammers coming here just to have their aff link in their sig. The idea was, at the time, if you're too lazy to at least register your own domain, you don't deserve to promote your aff link.
