What is interesting is the cat knows to look on the other side of the device to see if the 'target' is there.

Yes, and kitty almost tripped a few times, so a good idea, but l would have some concerns about safety.

Great way to keep a cat healthy. That is a nice looking treadmill wonder what it costs?

I think that's for a manual version which is open at the bottom, since it has no power supply?

It seems theygo for £500 - £600 for the electric.

well i guess that makes this useless thing .. something someone with to much money has will buy just because only rich people can buy such a thing ..

it winter time and i doubt there is anywhere people with to much money can go to buy 1000$ bottles of booze to spray all over their friends ..

when they already bought the 300$ cat scratching post and the 200 dollar tepee to go over the 250 $ cat bed ..

A friend tried to teach her dog to walk on the treadmill she got for Christmas.

Don't know when I have laughed so hard. Little, chubby pug...sweet little guy. He was happy to step onto the treadmill - and the moment she turned it on, he would sit and then tumble off the end. He would not take one single step. His owner added a leash and tied it to the front of the treadmill...the pug sat and then just 'dragged' on the treadmill.

After about a dozen tries my friend gave up - she said it was a good thing her dog was cute because he was really dumb. I don't agree - he will never be asked to get on that treadmill again...how dumb is that?

No, l would say that it is a nearly useless thing.

And when the cat trips and is glued to the sides of this thing until he gets flung off, l would say that the 9 lives will get a workout.

Just curious - how many people with opinions on the cat toy...have a cat?

I don't have a cat now, but have grown up with several, (three at one time) and yeah, l have plenty of funny and not so funny stories to tell.

But yeah, we or l used to live on a farm surrounded by paddocks, so some times when l went for a walk one of more of my cats would follow.

And at other times, one of our pesky cats would take himself for a walk, which l only realized when l called out Sam, and heard a distant meauw.
