well they are trusting the tech enough and there is enough positive response from guests that they are opening more locations and planning to open 100 locations in 5 years ..

and i find using terms applied to human workers..like laying off.. when you chose to stop using a particular robot .. misleading or just plain worthless ..

with a rapidly aging population and resistance to allowing immigration.. japan is in the lead for developing robots that do human tasks .. first hotels .. next or probably already hospitals or at least nursing homes type systems..

Shane ..you would go back a hundred years and call into be highly pessimistic of the future of humans flying with all the troubles planes had the first few decades ..

at least we don't need world wars or major world war any more to rapidly advance tech like we used to

How big is the country of Balestria? Is it bigger than its neighbor...Lesbia?

I am working diligently with the team at Whatty Labs to try and overcome a problem we have with Asimov's First Law Of Robotics. The one that states "No robot shall harm a human being". We are working on a robot that alleviates one of humankind's most laborious, but necessary tasks, that of punching garden gnomes in the face.

Asimov's First Law stands in the way though because the robots cannot distinguish (as human's can) between humans and gnomes. They mistakenly regard gnomes as being a sub-species of humans, and therefore are reluctant to perform their intended task.

Nevertheless we plough on undaunted by this challenge as we are all aware of the rewards that await us when we succeed - being showered with untold wealth, Nobel Prizes, self addressed undergarments from super models, etc., etc..

I can help you distinguish between humans and gnomes. I have met a gnome. You have simply read posts by one.

Gnomes have a sharp pointed nose.
Male gnomes have high pitched voices for a man. This is because they breath in Oxygen, and it's converted to Helium....and comes out as a bad smell.....like an old taco.
Gnomes are notoriously cheap. If you go to lunch with a gnome...expect to pay..including the tip....
Most gnomes wear elevator shoes to try to look 5 foot tall. And they wear a goatee to try to look more like an adult, instead of an evil ten year old.
Gnomes are always disappointing to their parents. And they usually end up in some middle management job with a bank.....like all evil subhumans.

Lesbia is now uninhabited, due to an oversight on the human reproduction issue.

Balestria suffered trade problems, due to the fact that no one could understand them. Textgipsy is a very difficult language to master. It's royal family were forced to abdicate to Woosteria where only the youngest of the 7 virgin princesses still survives. Princess Balestra has taken her countries plight to many influential forums in the hope of obtaining help and understanding for her ailing countries needs. Her Gio Fondle Moi campaign was notably a flop.

No l wouldn't be pessimistic about the Wright Brothers and such, as it was controlled by a man, it is leaving it all up to a machine that worries me.

Yep exactly, lol, how many guests would go up to the front desk complaining that their bedside Butler, (stupid puppy type doll) doesn't work, (the plug being yanked out of the wall and the device hitting the adjacent wall, or sidewalk, is purely coincidental).

Unfortunately the front help desk is the Terradactul or the rigid woman robot, both with high punch counts, no doubt.

humans are controlling it.. see we have spent the last hundred years trying to make humans act more like machines ..the last 200 years has been a continual replacement of humans by machines or robots .. so it just a continuation of that process .. and a freeing up of humans from much soul crushing repetitive work .

or are the majority of humans just use full from nothing more than repetitive labor
r .. that can better be done by machines .. to keep people working ..governments have to take close to half of their income in some sort of tax .. between when they earn it and when they buy stuff ..

If people are happy with this setup, then more power to them, but if a Suri type device near my bed wakes me up in the middle of the night squawking, "l don't understand the question" then l would check out the next day, and the device would be in pieces, and the dent in the wall would be unavoidable.

looks you can't smoke in hotel room ... or damage the equipement in room without incurring extra charges.. but you can p**s on the bed and say thats how bad the robot scared you when it woke you up.. and no one will say a thing ..
