Sounds silly but it is a good idea, although the Apocalypse Now music is prefible).

A pity about the 20 - 30 minute battery life....

True, and l also found another use, like paying someone on Fiverr to fly a drone over someones business that will remain nameless, and play "Age of Aquarius" for 20 minutes.

      Hmmm, Fiverr.

Damn, and l thought that l was being indiscreet, (l didn't say creepy guy once).

But in all honesty, he does use one himself to corral all of the stray cats to the back of his business, (big bucks in scientific experiments).

Nylex cat song attracts them and Justin Beiber sends them scattering in all directions, natch.

The quality of the hifi sound output from these drones was discussed heavily on Twitter. A case of Woofers & Tweeters

It must have taken you a good 30 seconds to come up with that one?

He cannot run several at once, and at over 3k each, wouldn't want to, sheepdogs he can.

a well bred sheep dog .. because not many breeds of dogs can be used for sheeep dogs .. cost 1,500 Usd .. then there is training and other costs.. and i have heard it can take a few different dogs before a skilled one is found .. so as far as farming equipment goes for the number of animals he has .. the 3,500 is a small investment .

and the farmer isn't planning to get rid of the dogs he has .. the drone just allows him to do things he can't do with the dogs.. or that doing with the dogs stress out the sheep.. but the drones don't work in bad weather rain and high winds .. so still need the dogs .

with tech like this and cheap mobile electric fencing and managed grazing systems based on paddok shifting.. more live stock can be raised on pasture in ways that build soil .. and repair the land..and get more profit ..than in concentrated animal feeding operations ..

i doubt a drone will ever be smart enough to and tool of tech.. to chose to figure out how to her animals.. or people or ..the basis of creativity .. is seeing a problem that needs to besolved and designing a solution... or greatly improving how people do things..

but there are many humans who use their creativity to use thec.. to give people with large amounts of people with little to do.. many ways to waste that time..

and other people are using tech to make the small percent of productive people to be much more procutive

100 years ago.. 90 percent of the population had jobs in agriculture.. now i think that is less than two percent ..because tech allow one person to do what took 500 to 1000 people and many many draft animals 100 years ago.

so the farmer her or the herdsman..sense he doesn't own the farm.. uses a drone to be more productive than he was before the drone ..and with a relatively small investment in the drone ..

make productive people more productive and let the less perductive people use their free time to play games on their cell phone .
