Hi guys!

I started to got malware virus in my site too.

I already cleaned all of them on my site once

but now they come back and the hosting support team said that

malware virus go deep into the hosting, cleaning on the sites is not enough.

So, is there any video or guidance that i can learn how to clean them for free?

Thank you

Here's a few ways to remove malware for free.

    First download the following:

    Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    Superantispyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/superant...

    CCleaner (cleans out caches) http://www.ccleaner.com

    Avast! 4 Home: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Now, start the machine in Safe Mode (hit the F8 function key as the machine boots up, and choose Safe mode)

Turn off System Restore on your machine, but only until you get this fixed - many of these trojans get copied into the System Restore files, which anti-virus programs aren't allowed to touch and the viruse could reinstall themselves from there. My Computer > Properties > System Restore.

Then run Malwarebytes, and clean everything it says

    Then run Superantispyware

Then run Avast - If a virus infection is persistent, use Avast to do a boot-scan - click on "schedule boot-scan" and restart the computer

    Then run CCleaner

Then turn System Restore back on.

Now install the antivirus program and antispyware program of your choice to do continuous scanning, and make sure you keep it up to date.

Good advise but he said that it was on his site, not the PC, etc. And if it was on his PC, with Windows 10, then safe mode would not show using F8, although with a song and dance routine, from what l have heard safe mode can be brought back on W10.

I know that with Hostgator, you can create a mirror of the site or/and your site should have a mirror by now, that you can reinstate before the virus.

Obviously if you are with HG, then the Plesk update, and the Windows Shared, (as they call it, l have another word for that) was instated, then the previous mirror is probably toast.

Even using Plesk directly, (a lot cheaper, but support not so sure) your older mirror is still probably toast.

So if you are with HG, probably cutting and pasting the lot over to a new domain, may be your only option, but look into the mirror first if the Plesk update isn't a problem, (you want to stay with Linex, or edit your site directly, etc).

        Hello

The best way is to do what tagiscom suggested, build a new website by copy/paste. (not using the code) Then make sure you have hosting with cpanel (NOT plesk) cpanel allows you to download backups of your website. It only takes a few minutes to do this OR you can automate the backups with outside software. You should do regular backups, at least weekly.

        Cheers

    Seriously?!

I would get a different hosting company and be done with the craziness.

I've never had any of the problems that you have said you've had.

Windows Defender, if you're using Windows 10.

  • many free software available but i recomend don't use free software, as they don't give you support, guaranty, and it can be harmful for your device.
