Warrior Forum Thanks button...

I just recently started posting on the Warrior Forum and I noticed that some people have thanks buttons and some people don't...like me. Do I need to enable something? Do I need to have a certain amount of posts before I get one?

I had also noticed several posts in threads where the person said if you liked their post you could click the thanks button in the lower right corner...yet there was none.

I would appreciate any help!

I may be wrong but I believe you have to have a certain amount of posts before you get the thanks button.

That crossed my mind but I have seen some warriors that only have a couple more posts than me and they have one. I'll just keep posting and see if it ever shows up.

      I appreciate your help...thanks!

Okay...I have just noticed people with less posts than I have (and I only have 6) and they have a thanks button. I do plan on putting some good posts out there and if anyone should want to thank me I'd like to have a button. Any ideas?

Frequency of posts may be a factor. I was away from the forum for
a few months, when I came back I had no thanks button. As soon as
I made a post it reappeared.

Terri, I don't think it has anything to do with your post count. Every post you've made shows a thanks button. You just won't see it in your own post. Everyone else will.

I think we should all thank those who contribute good information. I am going to make an effort to thank more often as well!

I've also been a Warrior member for a short time, but I've seen so much excellent stuff here, and I've already started to implement some of it, that I also want to give thanks. But, alas, I cannot find a thanks button on anyone's post.

I found this thread via a Google search. Does anyone know how it works? Do I also have to post a certain number of times before I can give thanks to other members?

I'm also new and had the same problem. Other peoples' thanks button didn't show up for me. I was going to email the administratorto ask for help, but the next time I logged on to the forum, the thanks button appeared (??).

I also think it's very important to thank people who take the time and energy to give all of us the very good, high quality information that I've seen and used on the Warrior Forum.

    Hi,

You will never see a thanks button on your posts. Nobody does. The only thanks buttons you see are on other peoples posts.

1: You need a certain number of posts before you get it.
2: Posts here in the off topic forum don't add to your post count.

You will NEVER have a thanks button for yourself!

You can thank others and when you post others will see a "thanks" button on your post....but you can't thank yourself.

I also googled and got here. I have the same problem as other people posted. I don't see a button to give thanks to other people for posting good content. I would love to thank them without leaving a one liner. But no button. So I can't leave a one liner and can't give thanks and feel kinda bad, because people took the time to leave such good info.
Anyway. Maybe a thank button will appear eventually.
Thanks to people who answered on this thread ^_^

It's a simple, straightforward, factual issue.

You won't see a "thanks" button in your own posts, ever.

In other people's posts, you'll see one after you've made 5 posts of your own (Off Topic and WSO posts don't count toward the total).

However long the thread goes on for, and however many times people find it in Google and post in it again, asking the same question, or repeating the same comments, guesses and assumptions, that's really all there is to it.
