Interesting article that makes me wonder what's out there that humans aren't smart enough to understand or discover?

For now, most everything that's "out there."

Wow, interesting read. Who knows what the future holds, hope they make substantial advancements while we're still around to catch them.

  • All I know is, evry time I ride a bicycle, ingenuity realised as near effortless momentum communes with squishy released as clearly voluble intentum.

Don't ride 'em often bcs the city is cruel that way, same as horses.

Thing is, evry an' all journey got way cool inevitables either end, between which all possibilities may flourish in flux.

I love thinkin' this sumtimes whenevah certainties pack diminishin' nooses, possibilities won't let you grab 'em, or I so blissed out on delish I jus' gotta lie down an' stfu.

An interesting discussion was on TV with Neil deGrasse Tyson. He said that genetically we are 99% the same as apes...but that our brains are only two genes different from apes.
Basically, we just have more neurons. More capacity. The structures of ape/human brains are really the same.

And he wondered if someone suddenly had an increase in capacity, equal to the difference between apes and humans...what could this person accomplish? How different would they be from us? What thoughts would they have...that the rest of us could never understand?

I heard someone (I think it was Christopher Langan but can't remember for sure) say that people with even 30 IQ points difference couldn't effectively communicate because they live in different spheres of reality.

      Experience tells me that's true.

That's why you will never comprehend my advanced theories.

That's interesting about NDT's comments. It was also interesting the last time we discussed it.

To take it even further, that's just an example but not the limit. What if the there's a being with two different genes from a being with two different genes from us? Or maybe they have 10 different genes that increase mental and/or physical capacities? And maybe beings aren't limited to DNA or genes?
