Star Trek Picard Season 1 ended and it was good in my opinion.

*WARNING SPOILER ALERT*

No surprise as you follow along with the story: Picard suffers a brain deficiency and owed to new technology introduced by Data's creator our good captain becomes a "synthetic" aka android for lack of better description.

It should be noted that 7 of 9 and her newly added bad ass ways are worthy.

Yes, and since this has the spoiler alert, l can speak openly about this. Not sure that Picard was a synthetic, since he asked "is this body real" and Somm said yes. So a clone for sure, without the Borg implant.

And Somm, also had Data's eyes, and also died in the original series, (Star Trek Generations, when Data hijaked the ship). Which he faked or downloaded his memory into a synthetic version, (hense the eyes).

Clever when Data finally caught up with Picard, or Data was effectively in limbo, since he could have been reconstituted.

Not sure if the series will be as good as the first season, but here is hoping/

Always thought that in Voyager that 7 of 9, wouldn't fit in and become rough in some way.

Yes, Picard is now a synthetic which nothing like a Borg.

Picard is not a clone. He is a "synthetic." There are numerous references to that if you Google it.

Data died at the conclusion of Star Trek: Nemesis when he sacrificed his life to save the U.S.S. ... But while Star Trek: Picard confirmed that the android's physical body was indeed destroyed, a part of Data lived on because he downloaded his memory engrams into his imperfect android copy, B-4.

Yepper, we can only hope. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Here is a good article about it although I don't agree it was disappointing.
The article is technically correct, but I think the title was contrived to get attention and create controversy.
The 'Star Trek: Picard' finale is both amazing and awful, yet ultimately disappointing

This show started out looking promising but later episodes are being panned.

No sorry Jeffery, l will stay with Picards question in the show and Somms answer, (Somm could have easily taken Picards DNA before he croaked, and whipped up a new one).

We will have to wait til next season but if Picard is, then he will be tilting his head and doing other whacky things, (the series will go downhill if that where true) not to mention home made pizzas, lol.

Avenue 5, has another season, and this season seems to be over, (SPOILER ALERT) although l still cannot figure out how the frozen stupid corpses that went out of the airlock, drifted away, when the others and the s......t, didn't!

The world cannot get enough black humor.

Just watched the first episode of The Mandalorian, which would keep any Star Wars fan happy.

And so far it has a lot of potential, the Bounty hunter reminds me of Clint Eastwood, which is a good thing.

And l may even see what happens when Luke knocks him into Saraks belly to be devoured for a thousand years.(Return of the Jedi) most likely he gets out, or blows himself up.

    Hi guys,

I haven't been around for ages because my writing work took up all my time.

It's nice to see good banter hasn't disappeared, especially in this section.
I like all Star Trek versions and I was happy to see Picard back at the so-called helm once again.

Good to hear from you Laurence. Hope you are well.

The number of familiar faces are dwindling but the Claude insults are being maintained thanks to our new Claude-joke writing Consortium.

I have not watched this new incantation of Trek and prefer to savour it's predecessors.
