New normal - McDoanlds

Post-lockdowns, restaurants and stores are gradually reopening and adjusting to new health and sanitation protocols to curb the spread of the coronavirus. And this is McDonald's in the new normal. For-here dining is still allowed, but with limited seating capacity. There are physical barriers to separate the working crew from the customers, as well as temperature checks and contact tracing.

    Here, sad to say, the restrictions have been put back in place due to a handful of idiots. Forrest G0ump was Einstein compared to some of these people in the state of Australia I live in. I am home 95% of the time anyway. I don't drive and so I catch cabs to medical appts and anywhere else I need to go.

      Yes, l am thankfully not in one of the affected areas, since l would probably go nuts if l went through that again. And the restricted areas have police door knocks and random cop cars pulling people over.

      I would move to Sweden if l had the cash!

    Restrictions are in full effect here unfortunately. I've resorted to bumper stickers as a way of offline marketing. It's worked better than I thought it would. I'd recommend it to anyone.

    Some of the McDonald's here are allowing dine-in, some now. I live in a southern city in the U.S. where re-opening has been paused for the moment. I won't get into good versus bad, etc. But, one of the guys who works the drive-thru at the location I sometimes go to says he hasn't seen as much business since he started three years ago.

    I'm in the states here (the northeast). Restaurants have opened up. There are markers on the ground telling people where to stand. I was picking up pizza Friday and they have seating open, but only every other booth is open. It's nice to see people not wearing masks nowadays.

    I bought some of those vegetarian "Morning Star" sausage and egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. One minute 30 second in the microwave. They come out perfect and very tasty. The veggie sausage pattie taste more like sausage than fast food sausage patties do.

    No goop or under-cooked egg or hard bread.
