How many hours do you sleep?

The amount of hours we sleep will vary from person to person. There are obviously a lot of authoritative and non-authoritative articles on the internet about the amount of hours we sleep.

From my own research the majority say 7 hours minimum is okay and 8 hours is better and 7 to 12 hours is optimal. Case studies of people that average 3 to 4 hours and others where age will differentiate the numbers. So forth and so on.

Internet Marketers may be a different animal? I have not seen any case studies to that effect.

As an Internet Marketer or someone not involved in internet marketing that spends a lot of time on the internet...

If you were asleep, you probably did not post this, it's a dream and anything can happen in a dream. Don't be suprised if you see an enthusiastic post from Claude showing the latest UFO sighting compilation video, a post from the princess you can understand, or one from Tagiscom that has some common sense in it.

Tried that and it was too much sense and not enough common.

Maybe 6 hours a night. Maybe 5 if you subtract the times the cats wake us up.

personally i have undiagnosed sleep apnea .. and no cpap .. so it really doesn't matter how much i sleep .. it matter how bad i snore and air quality as i sleep .. if i sleep next to an open window or outside ..i get much better sleep than in a closed up house with heat or air conditioning going ..

2-4 hrs a night without any type aid.
It's never been a problem for me.

Most of my family sleeps less then 8.

    edit:
I love the piece and quiet that you only get when you're the only one awake.

  • Gotta hope the best deal gowin' is how maxo succor is derived from whatevah phase of consciousness you got gowin'.

For sleeps, this means total frickin' zonkout so's you can rejuvenate your mojo an' your braino can go play fancy with them deep & true sweet stuffs.

For wakin', this means I don't wanna bumble around in no preoccupied haze. I burnin' out alive here, so if'n ima tossin' my mortal flesh in the direction of srs outcomes, plz ffs let me be CONSCHWAAHSLY engaged.

For flopout, this means restful meetup between sleeps an' stomps which kinda helps define what both these stuffs mean far as my input in any kinda scheme goes. Covers essential self-maintenance and megalomaniac urges with equal ferocity.

For oblivion, eithah you travel so far up your own ass or are compelled to embrace the alimentary tract of sumone else to the extent that you revere all they say, likely we talkin' distraction therapy c/o uniform-friendly slavery or poison research with srs alcohol as a side benefit.

Big problem we got here in globalnetsy today is how natchrl biorhyths mis-sync with all kindsa demands.

So you gotta always be lookin' at states of bein' an' seekin' to get the most outta what they all here for.

Which means mebbe the hours gonna vary more than when we all jus' grew crops an' speared rabbits.

All I know is, nevah slept too much in my teens, slept like a baby when I was a baby

(An' I have a frickin' certificate to PROVE IT!)

Point is to mix evrythin' togethah sweet so you can combine the best of all your essential state of bein'.

Sounds stoopid, but my essential SLEEPS, WAKIN', FLOPOUT an' OBLIVION delivahs an almost elemental recipe for investigatory alchemy.

    Simple combinations. Easy math.

(An' when I figure this with cookin' stuff, ima WHITMAN OUT from the rooftops.)

Way I see it, problems start when sleeps ain't quite sleeps, wakin' ain't quite wakin', flopout ain't quite flopout, an' oblivion ain't quite oblivion.

Procreative myootability depends on knowin' what you throwin' togethah, I guess.

rn I a lark steada an owl -- an' I fine with that.

I used to suffer insomnia. I'd be lucky to get three hours sleep. Ambien got me to a solid 5-6 continuous hours.

Then I had a kid. Now I get a consistent 6 hours without the need for drugs. My 4 year old son wakes up talking and doesn't stop moving or shut up until he goes to bed. It's exhausting just listening to him, let alone chasing after him. My mother says it's Karmic Revenge.

:-D I feel your pain. We let our kid sleep in our bed. When they need fed, mum just turned to her side and fell asleep while our kid fed.

I think our kid liked being with us and so felt comfortable and slept happily longer.

7-8 hours of sleep is crucial for me to actually get any work done. They are nights when 3-4 hours of sleep is the maximum that I get but I can only go on like that for 3 days max and then my body just collapses. For a healthy body and mind, 7 hours of sleep is very important.

Yes. Eat snacks just before you go to bed. Then eat snacks in bed. Then get up and eat snacks.

Or do what I do, get up as soon as your wife is asleep...and eat all the leftovers in the refrigerator...and blame it on the cats.

So in answer to your question, "How many hours do you sleep?, the correct response from me is, "In 3-5 hour blocks, I've slept in all 24 of them."

    Hey Jeffery,
Generally, a 6-hour sleep is enough for a normal, healthy person. However, it varies from person to person. It depends on a person's routine and working hours. If one has much work to do at night and leisure in the day time, 3-5 hours sleep suffice. Mostly internet marketers remain busy all night long, even in the day due to being overburdened and can't fulfill their normal sleep hours. They need to make a healthy routine to maintain their health.
I take must 6-hours of sleep.

    Thanks

    I sleep 6-8 hours.

Plus, I discovered via a PT a few years back, that zinc and magnesium can really help with sleep. I ws having problems before he told me about those minerals and that night when I took them I slept like a baby. If I don't take them after a week or so, my sleep starts to get disturbed and before I know it I'm awake at 3am and tossing and turning the rest of the night/morning.

  • I usually sleep 6 to 8 hours. But at the moment I am getting enough sleep and I feel refreshed when I woke up. Before, when I slept the same amount, I slept very restlessly and because of this I woke up and constantly felt tired in the morning. It seems to me that it is very important to monitor the quality of your sleep and sleep hygiene. In addition, I started taking vitamins, I started taking lysine and arginine, which reduce anxiety and lower baseline cortisol levels even in healthy people. (link removed by mod - read forum rules) The fact is that a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized study in 108 healthy people showed that adding 2.64 grams of lysine and 2.64 grams of arginine for one week reduced stress-induced anxiety and lowered levels of the stress hormone cortisol. It seems to me that because of this, I sleep much more calmly and rest better. Are you taking any vitamin complexes to improve sleep quality?

I mostly sleep 6-7 hours nowadays which is fine but I think that I may need to reach the threshold of 7-8 so that I can remain healthy. There are a lot of times that I just sleep for five hours which is bad when you think about it. There are a lot of people who will struggle with that kind of thing but there are possibilities that can happen with more hours of sleep. However, the world is too busy nowadays that you cannot really get the sleep that you need and want.

They say it is important to sleep for 8 hours. But in reality it turns out 6 hours, rarely 7.
