Back in September I was on the verge of buying one BTC when it was like $6k.
Now one BTC is almost $50K. ( $48,391and change as I speak now)

Don't know the real world wide use of it and how it will play out, but Elon Musk believed in it enough to buy $1.5 Billion of it

Stuff like this that is not backed up by anything physical is still ultimately doomed to collapse sooner or later. Personally I stay away.

Seems to be based on Speculators and Hedgers. I will have to agree just hard to imagine it replacing cold hard cash.

Had a little tiny fractions when it was originally around $700.00. Back about the time Yukon had his thread here. Purchased a few different alt coins with it. When it jumped to 20 grand my Coinbase account looked great.

Do not have any bitcoin currently but I have some steem , Monero, and a little XRP in various wallets. No longer trading or interested in it.

I have used Coinbase in the past to purchase bitcoin. They are like any other on line trading platform. You sign up for an account. Once it is approved you transfer Money from your bank account to Coinbase. Then just place a Bitcoin order. When you want to sell it is just as easy. Place a sell order and they take care of it. When you want to withdraw they transfer the cash right back. They also have some other alt coins on the platform but not a lot.

Don't forget to report your sales to the IRS. Coinbase is based in the US and shares that information. Their are a few other reputable company's out there. If you have bitcoin you can also use a wallet but that gets a little complicated to explain.

I still have some steem and belong to the steemit community. I use their Actifit tracker that has some rewards. A few members of this forum or also members there.

Hey Dwolfe , as of about a year now it is no longer Steem. It's Hive and you should have had an airdrop of new hive back a year ago. That's good

Have not done a lot on the platforms in very long time.. Remembered the split after the power grab. Mostly have Actifit tokens, it encouraged me to keep walking. I guess this message now when I sign into my profile

"Steemit will distribute extra TRX to you as rewards. This account is for receiving such rewards.
The system will automatically create a TRON account for you for free.
Do you agree to create a TRON account and download the PDF with your TRON public and private keys? "

Are you Active on Hive right now ?

I was up until this Fall. I was really into it. I've pretty much Retired now and received a lump sum so I just decided to cash out over there as I got tired of posting there and the price was not appreciating.

This is not a crypto forum though we permit some threads about e-currency in OT.

Google those questions and you will find sites devoted to answering them.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
