I did it.... 365 straight days of exercise

I started right when the Pandemic really broke out and toilet paper was being scooped in mass quantities at the grocery stores.

Even when I had to travel I still got in at least a quick mile of running in my schedule. ( we just got back a few hours ago from the Disney Resort called Aulani in Honolulu, HI. for 7 days and managed to squeeze it in )

Anyway, not trying to toot my horn but after 2 hip replacements less than 4 years ago...well if I can do it so can you.

Cheers

That is impressive! Takes real dedication to push yourself on days when it's easy to find excuses to 'skip' a day.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

    First, well done.

    Second...
I want to introduce my own exercise program. I do it every day and haven't missed a day in years.

    Every day;

20 minutes of mirror looking. 120 calories burned.

25 minute of bragging. 130 calories burned.

Maybe a hour of typing, trying to prove how superior I am (Very stable genius). So...another 300 calories burned (because typing is exercise).

On Monday, I spend between 3 and 4PM blaming others for my mistakes. I don't know how many calories that burns, but I know I feel better when I'm done.

20 minutes a day chasing my cats...20 minutes a day hiding from my cats. An hour a day petting my cats. An hour of sleep lost because...well, my cats. (That one's actually true)

Eating must burn at least 500 calories a day, I'm doing it constantly.

And there you have it. Oh, and highjacking threads.....10 minutes a day.

    Good job.

I'm lucky if I can last 365 minutes after setting a goal these days before life kicks me in the nether regions. The struggle is real. And the nether regions hurt.

Keep it up. Don't do like many people do when they reach a goal - they stop to celebrate and lose all their gains.

I so love it when people invest time in their pussies.

Two an' a half hours a day dedicated to non-world-dom stuffs is a huge outlay for a Capricorn.

You must love those guys very much.

That's great! I have just started exercising, and if I do 365 days, I will best proud of myself What is your nutrition plan? What supplements do you prefer? I would like to learn more. I like those vitamins and supplements from Canadian pharmacy a lot, for example. And I am really sure that you will find something good for you there too, good luck!

When I am traveling, it helps me to pack a skipping rope for a 20-minute workout.

Congratulations. I think it was a very difficult path for you to exercise during the year, however I'm sure that you feel much better than you felt previous year. I wish all people in the world would appreciate exercising and followed your sample. Well, no doubts, it will be very difficult for some people to start exercising especially in case they have never met this activity, nevertheless I believe that it's possible. The main here is to have a true desire to change something in yourself, the rest doesn't matter. You wanted to change something in yourself and you managed it, I think all the people should be motivated by your sample.

I keep joking about being out of shape and fat.

But for the last year, I've been working out nearly every day, for maybe 40 minutes. Not exercises anyone would be familiar with, but mostly isometrics and hard muscle tension exercises (a holdover from my Kung Fu training days).

My muscles and joints are constantly sore, but I work through it. I am getting a little stronger, but at 66 the body's tendency to weaken is matching my body's tendency to get stronger with exercise.

I am losing a little weight, and I have more endurance. But my memories of being fast and light on my feet are just memories, I think.

Good for you, Claude. 66 is still a baby. My mom who is 86 says anyone under 80 still is.

I just passed the 18 month barrier for working out everyday about 2 weeks ago.. My knees are starting to get tender. I think I may have the beginnings of Osteoarthritis in them. And my hips are tender on most days when I do my 12 to 13 minutes per mile shuffle jog for 3 miles ( I do that 5 days a week and weights twice a week with stationary bike).

But I keep going and moving. God knows in a years time from now my hip replacement ( artificial joints) may be shot. I just cannot stop jogging though. Yeah I'm an idiot

        Mind of a baby anyway

Congrats on your working out and diet, but watch those knees. Taking multivitamins helped my knees which were becoming very painful. Perhaps my liquid testosterone supplement as well Not quite so bad now and I am not dieting or exercising much.

At first ( when I started training again) my joints would crack and pop. Even making a fist involved hearing several joints cracking.

I started taking a couple tablespoons of Virgin olive oil and a few capsules of fish oil every day, and it helps my joints.

It took a while for Claude to notice, but most of his joint noises happened when eating his breakfast of Rice Crispies.

You mean Frosties, (he needs the sugar rush, and the Tiger looks Superherish).

Sets him up to do his three pushups, and take his Milk of Magnesium.

please can you answer "what would you do in your low energy days in week. when you really start thinking that what is the point of your exercising, why do you following daily routine," when one day you have to be an old man who is gonna die in pain of physical body.

Well two years of exercising everyday is officially in the books.

Once again I repeat that I am not trying to be boastful but rather keep myself accountable and possibly encourage others that if a 200+ fat ass like me can do it so can you
