Long Lost Old Member Returning to See What's Been Happening!

Hello everyone,

I have been pretty busy over the years since starting out here on WF back in 2010.

I figured I would stop by again to see what's been happening, especially with COVID and everything going on. These are troubling times but billionaires are STILL being made.

Also, I made A LOT of good friends from back then Calaban, Brian McLeod, etc too many to name really. Not sure if, or how many, are still around helping people. I have been gone myself but now I have 11 more years of experience under my belt.

And for those new people here that do not know me. I was already making money online because I was lucky enough to get into marketing at the beginning in 1996. At that time being a "porn affiliate" was the big, actually only, thing going then. This is because porn was the only thing people would use a credit card online for back then. I know 1996 was probably before a lot of you were born, LOL, but that's where it all started for me.

And I'm STILL creating porn sites today because A LOT of marketing, traffic analysis strategies, etc come from porn. I mean when you can figure out how to sell a product that is basically FREE all over the internet then you're doing really good.

So, let me take a peek around and see what all is going on here. And maybe even meet some NEW friends. Who knows!

Well hello there and welcome back. Have not had the pleasure of knowing you, although I joined in 2008, was not that active here till 2012. Yes, a lot has changed. Allen retired and sold the forum to another platform called Freelancer, who now run it. It is far less used these days. Probably much due to the fact that social media like Facebook, Twitter and others have become more popular. Many of the old diehards moved on.

There is still the odd bit of knowledge to be had by visiting this forum however. (not the Off Topic though)

So, you obviously are still making good money from the Adult online Industry and it still must be lucrative, despite all the freebies. I suppose the adult dating sites and the live entertainment ones must still be worth doing as promotion?

Years ago, my in-laws were talking about the terrible swearing on TV. (They are all very proper and religious)

Someone brought up how terrible it is that "The porn" is being seen by young people. (They really meant frontal nudity, not porn)

I said "Porn is a terrible problem today" (They all nodded in agreement)..

I said "You know the worst thing about porn? The Cost! It used to be that you could get a whole evening of porn for $10. Now a days, porn is costing me up to $100 a day. And it's not the good porn, like in the old days. It's just basic porn that anyone can see on cable. What a crime".

I'm not joking, that's a nearly perfect quote of what I said.

They all laughed...that nervous laugh you do when you are trying to be polite, but don't know if laughing is proper.

In the whole room, only my wife's older brother, and my favorite brother-in-law (a different man) laughed in earnest.

During an evening of polite conversation, my one brother-in-law and I would insult each other and make each other laugh. It's been like that for decades.

I pay about $3.43 a day for porn ( And everything else) That's the cost of my fast internet connection, 209 Megaboobs per second.

Just keep learning. I consider myself a graduate of the 2013 class I believe. Not sure, I believe I was around for 3 years before getting busy and moving on.

There was a lot of people doing different things back then. But a lot of things were good like Clickbank, which has really gone downhill in my opinion.

My suggestion to you is to find the people you like learning from the most or who fit your style of learning and try and stay friends with them and provide value to each other.

Back then I had a couple of ebooks, a membership site, teaching people to make money online, and that's about it.

Today I have 9 YouTube channels, 7 business websites, and 3 membership sites. I have taken many top popular courses, mainly just to show customers that I took, and passed them so they don't have to rely just on my word such as Tai Lopez's SMMA (Social Media Marketing Agency) course and got my certifications from him and still helping people out in his SMMA Private Facebook group. I took Grant Cardone's course and most of the other top people. This gives you credibility to the clients that don't know you because they probably have heard of the people that you've taken and graduated there course.

So stick to it and never stop learning.

Well, I can't say "Porn is a terrible problem" because I'm in the industry but I get where you're coming from. But if you're in the business of sales and marketing there is no other place you can learn about attracting traffic and converting it because as they say goes "if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere." Master making money as a porn affiliate and you can sell ice to an Eskimo.

Yea I knew about Allen and the forum ownership change and Freelancer purchasing. I believe I even had a Freelancer account back then but today I've been on Upwork for some years now. So for any freelancing gig or anything I run through Upwork.

Well it was nice touching base with a few people, and someone new. I wish everyone success in Pre-COVID and always keep moving forward.
