So its a whole 15.5 months away? For some reason the link only shows up when I went to reply. But I see it in the worst movie thread.

      Youtube, sffft, ok.

Looks like a rehash of the first one, where humanity is asleep, and one person slaps them about enough, to get them to wake up, l don't need to see that.

I figure that this may flop, bad timing.

Dune similar thing, except that they are low on stunning visuals, and high on people standing about talking.

Although a remake of the Texas Chainsaw massacre, or the French Revolution may do well?

Look different to me looks like they machines built this version for him .

I'm not interested in going into a theater any time soon so I will wait to see it on what ever streaming service it comes out on.

I was thinking in terms of ticket prices and cost of food in the theater. It was high before the pandemic I wonder. If the prices have gone up from 10-40 percent like many other things in the economy

Actually the timing is great, if people can go to the theaters. The holiday season people have off and get board. If lockdowns are in place that is another story.

  • If it helps, I jus' seen Matrix 8 'longside a whole buncha cerebrospinal flooid whooshyin' around in a vat the size of Mount Rushmore.

Here's where the scifi mindwarp fantasy of servitood toward sum higher powah meets the reality of achtshwlly I a Princess so I took up my offah of a celeb ticket, plus also sum lame Leviticus de Noorzenspielen hat which keeps lightin' up even when I set it to SLEEP.

Uhm... hope that wasn't no spoilah.

tbh is is the same Matrix story, even if Reeves is long gone an' de Noorzenspielen reveals his butt cheeks more often than might be presoomed possible for this genre.

As a supposedly hapless onlooker, I found it therapeutic to generate a modest degree of quiver in said Dutch hunk's attributes merely by stickin' a straw into the neighbourin' viewin' pod an' suckin' like I was downin' a Mojito.

So, yeah, for anywan lookin' to be teased, I can guarantee 8 is worth it.

4 gets you there, which makes it kinda essential viewin'.

"The last Matrix I watched was 5. I've followed Reeves' career all my life, so naturally I'm disappointed by this focus on rippling buttock flesh. If truth be told, I'm ANGRY. Can someone open a window? I hate confined spaces and I'm burning up here. A WINDOW, please ... a WINDOW. Ooh ooh de Noorzenspielen ... ooh ... ah .. ooh."

I can't say for sure the Noo York Times review gal will put it quite this way in 2035, but ima sure she gonna need help typin' it out less'n she breaks her own fingahs gettin' all excited.

PB (Princess Balestra) writes movie reviews in advance... If you let her words slide into your cerebellum and congeal, it will start to make sense...usually. Okay, well, sometimes.

This 'pre-release review' - will probably be close to the 'after release' reviews of the critics....though the focus on butt cheeks seems a bit much to me. Whatever....

The whole trilogy of the Matrix is my favorite trilogy actually. When the teaser of the Matrix 4 was released, I was very delighted by this fact. However, I wisely understand that the film can not approve expectations, because some of the main actors won't participate in this movie. In my opinion, if creators think about continuation of trilogy, they always have to do everything in order to save actors, mainly because consumers fall in love with particular personas in the movie. I wish this movie will approve my expectation and it will be as cool as it was twenty years ago.

I watched Matrix 4 Trailer 2: Apparently this movie exists for a pretty heartbreaking reason. After years of WB approaching the Wachowski's about making another Matrix and turning it down, it was onlyIafter the death of her parents and a dear friend that Lana came up with this story one sleepless night because she wanted to see someone else dear to her be brought back to life: Neo. However this movie turns out, it's been made passion and drive, and that's what has me most excited out of everything.

The first Matrix was groundbreaking in so many ways! The 2nd and 3rd were huge disappointments that never lived up to the hype! Not sure why exactly they rebooted this except..well of course.... there's gold in them that hills! I just hope it doesn't suck!

Agree the 2nd and 3rd were no where near as good as the first, but then again few sequals ever are.

Had some time over the Christmas break to watch the Matrix. Sad to say it was disappointing. Nothing new, felt like a rehash of the original and major focus on the love story.

Anyone watched it? What did you think?

I broke a taboo today and went to see Spidy, which was good, even though it dragged too much in some areas, and even with skipping ad's and sitting down seconds before it started, l still couldn't wait to get out of there, (you typically don't give a shit about the luvvy duvvy scenes when you want to leave).

And l did stay til the end credits, glad l did there was a scene at the end, as well as a small one during the credits that made little sense to me, since l am not typically a superhero fan.

But l probably won't see Matrix, since it is an upgrade, much like the trainwreck upgrade to Star Wars, (or the recent piss weak version of it).

    Meh.

This movie served no purpose and did not need to be made. Complete waste of 2 hours 26 minutes.
