    • Don't worry, he told the Press that he will be wearing his G String
  • The man looks incredible to be 90. Good luck to him
  • Update, William Shatner, Captain Kirk, has been to space. To boldly go for 10 minutes, he boldly went. Congrats Bill. He rants about it's amazingness for a while.

  • His speech about how amazing it was is pure Shatner...on and on and on.

What a brilliant piece of marketing that was....inviting shatner along for the ride.

    • Darn it, I should have said it first. Yup. A world paid attention for that one single reason, Captain Kirk was going into space.

  • Sometimes I do a drive by just to punch a hole in a bubble of pomposity...but this wasn't one of them.

I just thought of it FIRST....so there, MISTER Whitacre....

    • Yes, of course Ms. King.

You did think of it first, exactly like I said...which of course you knew, because you are smart.....um....smarter than I am.

Ha! I sure dodged that bullet!

      Claude "The Woman Whisperer" Whitacre.

  • Speaking of William Shatner he will be a host again for the History Channel's show Unexplained on Friday Nights starting Nov 5,2021 - [URL="https://www.history.com/shows/the-unxplained"] That should have some appeal to a few of you.

He was on the cover of a Magazine about 2 years ago. Think it was AARP explaining is work schedule. Good to see he is still healthy and productive at his age.
  • Despite the trials an 'tribblations of speculative tech, here's proof we can blast irony into space with the certainty of an armor-plated hardon.

Hey, but who needs saucahs spinnin' laterally into the beyond when you gaht a billion dollah prepuce squirtin' out all nooz kinda yondah?

Stoopid thing is, if'n your granma can't get no discount coupon for the finessed version of this miraculous service by (mebbe) 2029, likely this is a publicity shunt.

Jus' gotta wondah whether Bezos dreamed of a Kirk/Spock flypast before his supah cool tech arrived on the scene post fictional Vulcan demise.

Hey, yeah, an' what 'bout the zillion & one anonymous Klingon guys who inspired evrywan to defend 'emselves against all dark kinda evil?

    When they gettin' their turn?

Gotta hope there ain't no Biggah Dick prototype gonna launch soon to test the watah for families, sports associations, an' morally deprived cults big on spectacle desire.

  • Fun fact: Riding Horses in space is impossible

    It has zero G,G's

  • Number of posts it took to devolve into a Riffle, Whitacre, Mark love triangle? (With Mrs. King egging us on)

    10.

    • It's like a verbal doubles tennis match except it includes Billy Jean King who changes sides on a whim. Frank Donovan is the Umpire.

    • If we're being completely honest, the thread was off track by post 3.

  • Which is why though I'd love to visit space, wouldn't want to stay long.

    That's my job - it's what I do best.

Takei, 84, called his 90-year-old former Star Trek co-star a "guinea pig" for elderly people in space.

The two have publicly sparred for decades.

I totally missed this. There was drama on The Enterprise?

A vision for a Federation of Planets but turmoil on Planet earth?
