Holiday shopping is more challenging this year than usual...thought it might be good to have a thread where we list good pricing or unique gifts we find this year. Best site I've found so far:

Americanhatmakers.com

The site offers hats of all types and sizes - custom sizing - great return policy and a fantastic Black Friday deal.

I went to the site to get a gift certificate for older son's birthday in Dec...A $100 gift certificate was only $65 due to 35% off BF sale.
Gave the gift to him right away rather than waiting a couple weeks....when he went online and bought 2 hats...he got ANOTHER 35% off on his order. Quality products and a great deal, too.

A village nearby has a sign in the two block 'business' district that says "Jeff Bezos doesn't need another space ship - buy local for the holidays". I've been trying to buy all gifts this year from local stores and American manufacturers. Seems like a good year to do that.

What gifts or sites offering good deals have you found this year?

Honestly Kay I am just not a "gifts" person. I will give my two young daughters a well thought out card with my personal and intimate feelings towards them ( and the same with my wife with a piece of James Avery jewelry to go along with it) but I think people just go overboard with presents and gifts this time of year.

I am mostly into making memories with experiences and such

Amazon is generally cheap and has just about everything you can think of. And of course, Bezos needs us to keep buying from them so he can have more rockets.

Yep, cannot really go wrong with Amazon. They pretty much have a monopoly on the whole World

I love Amazon and I work my Prime membership to death...but when it comes to gifts for immediate family I try to find things they would like and wouldn't buy for themselves. It tells them I know WHO they are and what they value.

    It's just what I do.

I am another one who uses Amazon for Christmas and
    other gift occasions.

It's just easy and I've been doing it for years.

Amazon has just about everything, their prices can't be
beat for most items, and shipping is free with Prime.

So I can send them candy, cookies, cologne, clothes,
florals, or whatever and nobody ever knows that I am
    a cheapskate.

Plus when my people receive an unexpected Amazon
package, and Amazon didn't put a gift receipt in there,
everybody knows who it's from anyway.

Amazon has everything. Lol. I often buy products on Amazon. I always clarify in advance who wants what so as not to upset their loved ones.

Name Cheap was running a sale yesterday for Black Friday on all their products. Cyber Monday is still coming up. Without doing a lot of research several competitors are probably doing the same thing.

If you are looking to upgrade your computer, monitors or other accessories. Dell has a big sale going on. Especially with Windows 11 being released recently. A lot of computers are no longer compatible with the latest operating system.

No one knows for sure when people started creating with them, but empty turtle shells have been used for centuries to make bracelets, rings, necklaces, and various other pieces of jewelry throughout various cultures. At some point people began creating charms that looked like turtles to bring them luck as well. Today, turtle jewelry is particularly popular stud earrings, especially for young girls and pre-teens in the spring and summer months when one thinks of the ocean and beach, and these beautiful creatures lay and hatch their eggs.

  • Be nice to have a carol-sensitive bra that pulses Chrismassy lightin' whenevah festive toons are played.

Here is my dream life ...

Princess strolled into the store, her modest bosom cupped by the latest way crazy tech.

It was Christmas, she was excited -- plus, she'd followed all the instructions in the manyool.

INCLOODIN' ... naht wearin' a leathah top.

Yeah, c'mon, get flouncy. Sumthin' gossamer steada armored. That way all the Festytwinkly gonna shine on through.

Anyways, as evah, there was no gettin' near the delicious nuts areah.

It is such fun to crack these babies open close to the hearth that evrywan' fights ovah 'em wherevah they are for sale.

That is when Bing Crosby came on.

The store gal was playin' Nirvana right up till 5pm, but obvs the store managah said aftah that it is Christmas, gal, so get the Bing on.

So I am wondrin' at this point jus' what is happnin' with muh boobies.

Like I said, I read the manyool, an' these sparklin' cups are gtg for all kindsa herald angels, randon cartoon animals from around the globe, an' anywan so hapless they would muster as any kinda saw afraid posse.

Don't actshwlly say nuthin' 'bout Crosby -- yet my boobies twinkle into life at his mere suggestion the prelood to Yuletide 2021 is "jus' like" sumthin' I oughta have boned up on sumtime before I was actchwlly born.

So I Google the FACTS 'bout my brassiyulestuffs as I liberate a whole buncha grapes from a random bucket.

(Always, I would wish to be exotic -- an' grapes do it for me way more than mere apples or lettuce.)

Anyways, turns out my FROSTY MAM boobgear fine tooned to pull in all kindsa festive classics.

Lights pulse & shimmer, random buzzin' happens sumtimes back in the strap, an' there is an unusually inaccurate pedometer feachah to add a touch of sublime irony to the whole shebang.

Uh huh, let me put that in quote marks, bcs that was zackly what I said to the guy couldn't find his favo schnitzels when I was incandescent with glory in the discount bargain areah when 3 ships sailed in.

"Lights pulse & shimmer," I said. "Random buzzin' happens sumtimes back in the strap, an' there is an unusually inaccurate pedometer feachah to add a touch of sublime irony to the whole shebang."

Yeah, so he says, "you right there for sure! I've been blinded into submission by more Christmasses than you can imagine -- aw, but that sure is some sparkly bra affair, ma'am!"

"So, hey, what -- you gaht a sweetheart could use a gift? Lemme check where I bought this ..."

"Actually, I was thinking of my Mom," he says, checkin' his 5 pack of schnitzels has the full 5 in it. "She doesn't see too good these days, so this would be better than a torch."

Evah the generous person, I hold back from revealin' to the guy his 'schnitzels' could mebbe clean the rust off a farmyard tractah, an' jus' kinda smile.

Bcs evrywan in the store is sweet on Christmas.

Their evry step beams with spring of brightness for celebratory wondahs, it is almost a mockery of the season to cavort 'bout the place with such evidently evocative festive nipplityoore as my boopsy bingy bra doth summon into all glory.

An' yet we must celebrate always in the seemin' darkness, lest all spark be snuffed from our souls.

    Hey, plus also: matchin' panties!

What cephalopod-style fluorescent wondahs bra & panties shimmer between one anothah as Good King Wenceslesnessnaswas fails his frickin' spellin' bee!

Speaking of hats. I have a brother that lives out in the Midwest. He is a big fan of Wicked Tuna on the Discovery Channel. Since he has to wear a hat in the Summer outdoors. I order him a Officially Licensed Merchandise hat from the show - https://wickedtunagear.com/

Well, my sis married a Quebec nationalist. I did not know her husband was such until about 2 or 3 weeks ago. So I decided to buy an anglo-saxon comic book for the nephew.
