Just sitting here relaxing and finishing off a bag of hot and spicy pork skins from HEB. My affinity for pork skins started in 92' when I started dating a girl who liked them.

So let's hear what kind of salty snacks you enjoy ??

Unfortunately, she infected you with an STD and gave you Pork Scratching's.

    Marmite on toast, very salty.

So...sharp cheddar cheese...and a piece of trail bologna....and a beer. and a drive with a buddy on a Friday night.....really for no reason at all.

Oh, there was a reason. It's called "courting".

You brought up a good point, obviously by mistake.

I had friends who cruised. I went with them a few times. I finally asked my friend how many times he has done this...driving with buddies looking at girls... It was often. Then I asked him if he ever yelled at a girl from the car, and ended up with her...Of course not.

It occurred to me that this was a very inefficient way to meet girls. In fact, it occurred to me that cruising with friends was a way to not meet girls, but to convince your friends that you were looking.

But...that doesn't mean it isn't fun. I enjoyed driving around with my buddies. I just found that being with a group of friends, in a moving car, driving past girls in other moving cars...wasn't the best way to meet women.

I found the best way to meet women was to do what you did...pretend to be a 10 year old, and get adopted by a near sighted single woman who can keep a secret.

Dan used to cruise with his driver friend looking for girls. All they could see in the open side window was two tiny hands gripping the bottom of it and the top of a pointy hat with a bell on it.

Yes, you were pretending to look for girls because you already had the love of your life in the car with you. Food and Drink.

Because we've been on a healthy eating binge for several months we have not been having pizza night.

I was having pizza withdrawal so told family 'we've been good long enough - we deserve a pizza night'....they agreed....OMG it was SOOOO good.

I prefer to consider cheese (and peanut M&Ms) as a food group- rather than snack....avoids guilt.
