Some guy or team has stolen $50 Million in Crypto and thinks they are Robin Hood if they give some of the Stolen loot to Charity.

  • Interesting story . He 'invested' $50k....and was going to cash out less than 2 weeks later?

That statement blew my mind- you can take your money out as long as you put your money in? Of course the pot would never 'dry up' - it also would never yield a profit, would it?

For me the most telling part of the story is this man's reaction to the entire incident.

He doesn't seem to have a problem with a hacker stealing money ...or with a thief giving away stolen funds....as long as it is not HIS money that is stolen. That's rich.

  • I am on a Stock Trading channel which is abandoned and mention you make money and the BC scum just line up.

Bottom line is put your money in their self regulated BC account and log in the next day to find the entire site, and your money gone.

Yes but going up from what...a huge nose dive. But if you buy on the dips they say you can make some bank.

But one news cycle on any given day and who knows.

The really tricky part about Crypto and NFTs etc is the middle men/APPS in the processes that create additional vulnerability to get heisted.

Research your potential investment...then research your protections on every level.

I love reading all details on HOW people got scammed.

That is the knowledge we need as part of our due diligence.

I just did a search in Google..

Is gambling the same as investing?

    A highlighted caption read...

True, investing and gambling both involve risk and choice--specifically, the risk of capital with hopes of future profit. But gambling is typically a short-lived activity, while equities investing can last a lifetime. Also, there is a negative expected return to gamblers, on average and over the long run.

Online gambling has a tight leash on it in USA while Lotteries are more available than Casino type facilities but Lotteries generate a significant amount of money for state-funded projects.

    • I tried gambling some time ago, but their constant BS, about depositing money with some bonus nonsense made it virtually impossible to make enough to withdraw, and others are as sweet as pie, until you try withdrawing.

But ignoring that, gambling is having a flawed perception of success, (which the casino's online or off promote).

Online investing is more like learning how to drive a manual car while texting someone. And after a while the driving becomes automatic, but the texting takes time, maybe years.

I prefer meme type stocks, which most newbies would probably lose their shirts over, but my tailor is pretty good.

  • The only real trick to investing in high yield or crypto is having money you can easily afford to lose.

Not that you will always lose the money - but the mindset is quite different (as are decisions) if you are worried about losses.

Another thing that I find amazing is that you can see a Financial Instagram, you can see a Financial YouTube Channel but once you see the word "Crypto" mentioned it is an onslaught of SPAMMERS.

Many spammers with multiple spam comments every single post.

And most of the spam comments are links to someone that has hired the spammers to make "recommendation" comments on results they got or it actually is the person pretending to make recommendations to themselves.

Not sure how you deal with that much spam daily and one popular YouTuber with millions of followers in Financial niche almost got his Channel shut down because the spammers pretend to be him and leave WhatsApp telephone number links with matching Profile photo of the real channel.

Not sure how this can be remedied except most are so used to it they may realize it's spam.

The thing is the YouTube Algo does not since he made a video of almost having his popular channel shut down.

    • I see that crap on YT and other video channels quite a lot, typically with one person and 10 accounts.

And it starts, Ï have make $20k, on the stockmarket".

Second Post, "Gee so have l with Bitcoin, you must be another dog on a leash, Ronald McDonald BC, God, King trader that made a trillion in 30 seconds?"

Third line, "Sure and even though l am talking to myself since lemmings will buy this, l kiss his ring daily, (my ring).

Forth line, That sounds great lets all join hands and dance down the yellow brick road, and deposit all of our savings into an unknown entity and pray it is there the next day".

They keep posting this shit so it unfortunately must work?

That is funny and a great point. We have to keep in mind everything is International these days and keep that in mind when we post content.

Yea the hacker was trying to consider himself or themselves "Robin Hood" but in reality only Hoods that were Robbing.
    • Any relation to Robbin Banks?
