Quite Amazed At the Lack of conversation on Crypto considering

I have been a member here since about 2003 I think this is my second account so been around for a very long time and I just came back after a couple of years break due to Covid and stuff wont be getting into that LOL

But I am pretty shocked that I see very few conversations on Crypto and the many earning opportunities that they are offer ESPECIALLY since in just 7 months EVERYONE will start to use crypto as the world upgrades its financial system even if they have no clue they will be using it.

So my question is who here is into crypto and what are your thoughts on it as I expect to see some pretty crap products being put out on some other platforms that are blatantly misleading.

    Welcome back.

You should not be shocked - the Warrior Forum is not an investment nor crypto forum. Crypto threads are permitted only in the Off Topic section.

Why? Because those who start the threads are usually promoting a crypto product in their post or signature....and because the same few people answer most of the crypto threads.

Crypto spammers are a dime a dozen - I think they used to be the forex spammers. Doesn't mean we can't have intelligent discussion about it here.

Thank you kate and yes I understand that but making money in Crypto products are coming you can already see them on other platforms and to be fair they are exactly as you say.

On facebook there are groups just packed with spammers but as you say again there is no reason why we cannot discuss the subject at least to maybe educate some people on the pitfalls because I find most people dont understand it and seem to dismiss it as some sort of fad/

That is really a big mistake because 80 countries around the world are going to move over to it in November this year so ignoring it really is not so smart as it is the future.

I am not a spammer I have always provided and launched quality products over the past 18 years as one of the old school warriors from back in the day but crypto is coming and so are crazy products promising the world.

The community should be aware of it and I am happy to explain the pitfalls and for disclosure among other thigns yes I teach crypto as well as Amazon and Affiliate marketing.

I will make a note of the rules and apply them as I always have done on the Warrior forum

      thanks

We had multiple Crypto threads here in the past. Mike Friedman had one teaching how to invest back around 2014. The majority who came here bumping them were Spammers. Dropping links or promoting their new crypto signature or WSO's. After Bitcoin collapsed the talk here died out and so went the spammers.

Their has been some uptick in talking about it recently but not as much. Meme Stocks and NFTs posts have been more profitable. As stated above this forum is not really about investing.

Yes I started my first Bitcoin group on facebook in 2013 so have been in the space for many years already and fads come and go for sure but I have to say its been a bit early for most but now that the whole world is switching over to using Digital and Crypto payments i thought there might be more awareness and that is what i was saying, I am shocked at the lack of awareness in the community that is normally on top of new ways to make money.

I guess it's still too early but I really don't see an issue with teaching people about a new system that is already pegged to run the new world financial system.

I see there is resistance here which again is shocking but maybe because of the previous history which has tainted the community..

First off I don't thing theirs a lot of resistance here. Your probably way ahead of the curve. The current majority of posters here are not the same as the past. Some of the trends are YouTube, TicTock, SEO and Social Media. Sure a few other trends are popular.

The forum has evolved over the years and is different since the owner ship change and several different Admins. Biggest thing going forward you may want to consider educating those who post in this thread.

To answer your first question. As far as Crypto still have a small amount of crypto sitting on a Coinbase account. Also have a small amount elsewhere. One time was big on Steem. A few other members from here were also members there. But that site has died off.

Years back it was Bitcoin, Ether, and a few others. But things changed when a lot of cryptos collapsed. Leaving people in worthless investments. Polinex was the big place to trade different cryptos. How ever they change ownership and name. Forcing US Citizen's to exit their company. If I want to get back into trading cryptos, I would do it on the Webull app.

Yes you could be right and since I pretty much live and breath crypto I may very well be way ahead of the curve which is good in one way and not so much the other.

I think we are at the point where over the coming 2 years the interest will jump up wth all the mainstream marketing happening and the fact that the whole world financial system if moving to crypto to run it so even if people don't know about it now they will still be using it either way and of course better to understand it than not.

Being in the space for many years there are a few rugpulls but overall the space is maturing and of course regulation is coming in a big way.

I will stick around and educate where I can as people become more aware of it and the opportunities it offers.

      Gaz

PS check that Coinbase account might not be a little bit anymore

Was just watching a great video on YouTube.

"I Asked Bitcoin Billionaires For Crypto Advice" on Jordan Welch channel.

Young guy went to a Crypto conference and was on a mission to interview some of the top dogs in Crypto Space.

One Billionaire he landed was asked about newbies entering the space and he said well invest $200 in Centralized and Decentralized..then you will get hacked in both and you will learn from it.

I think as mentioned Crypto will expand but not mentioned is that it most certainly will get regulated and will definitely be some ripple effects with that no matter what.

Have long position in ETH. And short in MATIC.

    Supporting ETH since 2016.
    • Foresight notion was, likely significant in decentralized Internet dev, now popularized as "Web3".
    • Intuition now is mainly focused on what we're observing today in defi and nascent metaverse dev projects.
    • Though in summary, I'm subscribed to the notion of real world benefits that various communities might gain by developing interesting conceptual projects based on programmable money and trustless chains through smart contracts, especially for both Web3 and metaverse dev.

But as for my short position in MATIC, I started supporting Polygon side chain for liquidity staking and farming in Aave defi just this year.
    • Mainly wanted liquidity without losing my long ETH position, all while continuously earning staking and defi platform rewards.
    • So I started doing this when LIDO stETH got integrated into Aave.
    • And because of ridiculous gas fees in Ethereum mainnet, borrowed full LTV wETH, unwrapped it, bridged it to Polygon and swapped it for MATIC as liquidity from my stETH collateral in Aave.
    • I then sent that MATIC to a local centralized exchange here in the Philippines, regulated by our central bank.
    • And since then, I've been using that local centralized exchange to regularly convert that MATIC, along with new MATIC I keep on adding (which I directly buy from the same centralized exchange), to PHPt (Philippine Peso tether) and back to MATIC when it makes sense to do so, i.e. Buy low, sell high, and repeat.

Would greatly appreciate your recommendations on how to further optimize this process. Thanks!

A lot of people are losing money on cryptocurrencies especially with all the frauds that's been going on with it over the years.

I wouldn't be surprised why most people aren't even interested in it because some have lost virtually everything they invested in cryptocurrency with the current dip that's trying to liquidate all investors.

Well the author of the post makes the same mistake many people do as countries develop central bank digital currency which 87 where working on them as of March and 9 or ten countries have a working system . The USA will probably be a late adopter as to develop a usd based CBC the Congress has to give the federal reserve tans the treasury the powers to do it.

But I'm sure it's a waste of time explaining the difference between actual government issued digital fiat currency. And the highly volatile speculative asset classes called crypto currency. Then block chain technology is a different technology altogether and it more likely the real future thing that will spawn new asset classes every few years. With speculative bubbles

I am into crypto and my thoughts are that as technology is growing, such as the way people use things, it is also changing, and in the future, it is going to change people's financial freedom.
