Star Trek "Strange New Worlds"

First episode available to watch on You-Tube, no ad's.


I watched it. The Spock character spoke like Spock, it was visually good. Just needs better storylines. It seems to indicate that if it lasts long enough, eventually Captain Pike will die to be replaced by Kirk.

    And Captain Pike cannot die, (remember the last episode of the original tv series) he turns into a vegetable and Spok takes him to a restricted planet with aliens that get, (never mind) who give his life back.

      It was Pikes premonition and perception that he was going to die as per the episode. They may do an alt timeline bit, or not.

        Meaning that they are doing a Doctor Who, temporal mechanics spagiffied on the series.

        It is ok, if they mess around with it a little like they did in Voyager, but not, "you go back in time, since you ran into your sibling that you had 30 years wearier or your clone from a million years in the future had, blah, blah" or headache inducing slop.

        I may still watch it, but it has gone down a notch.

    One of my biggest challenges when it comes to watching any movie or TV series on YouTube is the repetitive ads that keeps interrupting my streaming.

    But it's good to hear that the ads are removed in this Star Trek "Strange New Worlds", so I'm liking going to enjoy watching it on YouTube.

    I am an avid Star Trek follower, in all its different variations.
    I'm enjoying the young versions of Uhura, Nurse Chapel, and Spock. I watch it on Paramount and there are no ads. I just hate having to wait a week for the next episode.

    Another long time Trekkie here and very much enjoying Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Interesting for me is that even though the Enterprise is older than the 1960's version, it looks lightyears (haha) advanced. Enjoy!

      Yes, even in the "Enterprise" series, the controls looked more advanced. In old scifi shows or films for example they would still use cathode ray tube monitors. No lip service to the inevitability that we would have flat panel screens in the future which they could have simulated.
