Just curious as what you're status is ? And what you're plans are for in retirement??

Best wishes for you and Cheryl

Thank you for thinking about me.

The store has been closed now for 2 1/2 months. I'm still getting used to the idea of not owning a business.

We're really completely retired now. I still get twinges of "I think I should open a new business". But it passes pretty quickly.

My wife is now busy with her artwork. She's a very good painter.

I'm finishing a book I've been tinkering with for over a year. And I have a podcast that's just about ready to launch. It's been "being worked on" for close to a year now.

If you look up Instant Sales Boost or Claude Whitacre Podcast, you'll see the podcast's website. Nearly all done except to post the first several podcast interviews.

Frankly, I've been holding off the launch of the podcast, because I was hoping to get my newest book done, to promote on the podcast....and promote when I get interviewed on other people's podcasts. I may start earlier, I haven't decided.

I'll probably do the podcast until I lose interest, and it starts to show.

My wife and I take walks nearly every day, and thoroughly enjoy each other's company. We have two cats that add to the fun.

We aren't world travelers, or have interests that cost any real money. A good life.

    How about you and yours?

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

Oh, we have had a great Summer. Took nearly 3 weeks off to go to Florida and Tennessee for vacation.

We take Walks as well. Although I usually just go running on my own early in the mornings.

I am glad to hear things are going good for you. It's always good to see good people like yourself and your better half prospering and really enjoying Life. It does not get much better than that !!

When we got our first cat, we actually gave that some thought. I bought a collar and a leash. I put the collar on....after about 10 failed attempts, and lots of squirming...

And our cat simply fell over on his side like he was dead. I'd stand him up, and he'd just plop over again. My wife and I were laughing hysterically. We finally took the collar off, and he stood up and walked away.

But I understand that some cats can be walked on a leash. Just not our first one.

As I was typing it, I knew either you or Riffle would pounce on that.
